    Hi girls

    I’ve been lurking this site now for a while reading through posts, looking at pictures and taking notes. It’s been super helpful so far so thank you!

    I have lost a lot of weight over the last couple of years getting into fitness and weight lifting and I am now left with deflated 32 A’s – FML. I have a consultation booked with MYA next wednesday in Manchester and am after any advice I can get. I am 5ft 2 and 8 stone and initial thoughts would be 225cc – 275 cc based on wanting that natural perky look but still relatively small (not looking for anything bigger than a c).

    I am finding it difficult to find befores and afters within these stats so if any of you have been through similar procedure i would love to hear from you and if possible see your before and afters. I am thinking overs as unders may interfear with my weight lifting which is just a no no.

    Also wondering if you think it would be feasible to fly short haul 8 weeks post up?

    I work in an office and will be taking 2 weeks off post op only – is this unrealistic and do you think i will be ok walking the 30 mins in to work as i understand i should stay away from driving for a bit?

    Finally, did you all go fully sedated or twillight?

    Thank you!

    Hi Louise 🙂 I just had to reply as I’m 6 weeks post op with very similar stats – I think I can help 😀

    I’m 5ft 2 just over 8 stone and also a gym lover who lost weight after discovering weightlifting! But also lost my boobs 🙁 ha!

    I’ve had 350cc Unders Dr Traynor in Preston 1st February. I’d advise going to a consultation as they will likely tell you exactly what size options you have and if unders or overs will work. He strictly told me I had to have unders since I had less body fat (and another surgeon said the same thing) so maybe you should go and see some just to check what they say 🙂

    My recovery was tougher than I thought! Under the muscle left me with so much muscle tightness and pain whenever I tried to use my upper body which I wasn’t really prepared for, so going back to work opening doors, lifting things and reaching was a real struggle. Absolutely no way after 1 week, I had to go back less than 2 weeks and it was hard. On the inside I was in pain and struggling but just had to get on with it. So as much time as you can get away with being off work will be best 🙂 but you can totally do it if you have to! Just tell the people you closely work with so they understand.

    Your flight will be totally fine i’d say 🙂 I flew to New York for a long weekend only 4 weeks after my op and was all good! Even had 2 doctors conveniently sat next to me randomly so that helped settle nerves lol.

    Best of luck with the surgery 🙂 now that i’m 6 weeks post op i’m really happy I did it. But I miss the gym SOOOO much and can’t wait to get back to doing heavy squats! Right now I still can’t grip the bar even on a smith machine which sucks! But I have been back for quite a few leg sessions using weighted machines and being creative with working hard without using my arms. Excited to be fully recovered with the new boobs <3 i’m sure you’ll find it all worth it in the end too! xxx

    @maddy

    Thank you for that reply! We have so similar stats / stories!!

    My consultation is wednesday so I will let you know how it goes.

    Did they say anything about going under and weightlifting them? I wouldnt want to mess up the implant in the future when having chest days lol.

    Also, can i see your befores and afters? What size are you in now?
