Best support bras?/similar size- help?

Hi ladies,

I’ve seen quite a bit of talk about supports bras but can anyone advise post op which has been the best for you? Need to start buying a few as my op is booked in for 23 July! I’m having 485/520 overs (different sizes) pre op i’m a 34c Has anyone had similar who is post op or anyone who is booked in to have similar ? Thanks!!! Xx

I would honestly say buy a Macom or two if its just for post op support. They are a bit more expensive than a sports bra, but I went through so many sports bra from changing sizes (swelling, dropping, growing lol) and also was difficult to find a comfy one for sleeping etc. All you need is your normal bra band size and the bra shapes to your changing boobs. You can get a 15% discount from the Macom site using the code mybreast which helps. I now have a really good few shock abosrbers for the gym but they are tight to keep me strapped in and I wouldn’t sleep in them, 13 weeks po and still sleep in a Macom 🙂 xxx

I would also suggest a macom too its my fav post op bra. I also bought a tesco support bra which was reasonably cheap but It is so tight, even tho it was 1 size up from my expected size. Marks and Spencer also do some front zip up ones which have great reviews. xx

Im looking at Macom bras now.. do i need to size up with the band size or just get my usual size? x

Deffo MacCom! But I would buy two – one that is your normal size and one a size smaller. I wish I had bought two as mine isn’t tight as it was anymore but they are def worth the money! Xx

Thanks, ive just ordered a medium. That should be ok. Going to look on m&S too and get a few more.. do you think i shoul dsize up with the band size? Or get my regular size? x

With normal sports bra size up on band size. With Macom just order your normal band size, mine has been great but I may see about ordering a size down too as I’ve been wearing/washing mine to death lol and still wearing it to sleep in 🙂 xx

No worries, makes them more affordable. There is a mya one too but it only gets you 10% and after paying for boobs, every penny counts 🙂 xxx
