Hey!! I’m 8 weeks op and was so excited to go bra shopping and thought having boobs would make it so much easier to find bras that fit however I am yet to find a comfortable bra!!! I have been measured as a 30e so it’s difficult to start with finding this size in nice bras. When I am finding them the underwire digs in to my ribs and really hurts yet all the ladies fitting me are telling me there is plenty of room in the back size. Does anyone else have this problem and have found any comfy bras?

Yep when I first put them on the underwire felt like it was really digging in…but today in my first day wearing a proper bra and feels fine. Yeah!

I understand exactly how you feel, when I went bra shopping had the same problem, I was measured a 32F and wanted a nice bra that would give me a goo clevage, nightmare!! I ended up buying a size smaller to get a nice bra but now I only have 1 that doesn’t hurt me, I am the same too the wires really seem to hurt my rib area

I hear you there, I was given a 30g at boux avenue but she said I still needed a smaller size on my back as the bras weren’t sitting against my chest in between the cups but 30G is this smallest back size and biggest cup they had. The underwire seems to sit lower too and really digs in my ribs. I was thinking of going a bit bigger one day as they don’t look that big but honestly don’t think I could find bras to fit if I did. First world problems eh, ha xx

I just removed the wires. The shape is still good enough to give me cleavage but doesn’t hurt…

Do you girls mind me asking is there anywhere you recommend to buy nice but comfy bras? Also I’ve heard that the front of the bra doesn’t always sit on your chest (the bit at the bottom of I between your boobs) after a BA is this true? Claire I hope your bras get more comfy soon! Xx

Never thought about removing the underwire. I was starting to think I had ribs that stick out but im not the only one to have this problem. The bras are leaving me with really red dinted marks. I was thinking maybe a 32 back might be better? What does the bra from ann summers look like that u got lucy? Xx

Also about the back size, I was measured 32 back but both debenhams and ann summers said I could easily wear a 30, but the way some of the bras hurt I don’t know how this is possible, I would just say they as many different ones as possible because they all fit very different

Everyone says different things in the shops aswell. I had someone give me a 28 back and it looked like it was squeezing the life out of me! I felt like that pork thats wrapped in string…! Are bras meant to be uncomfortable?! I always find straps arnt ever short enough for me even if the back is small. Xxx

Just had a look lucy. Think il be paying a trip to ann summers to try that bra, urs look great in it!! I need one that pushes mine together and that’s what I am looking for. Yeh il have to try more styles and a bigger back see of that helps. I dragged my bf around all the bra shops the other day for a couple of hours and my friend today. Might have to give it a couple more days before I can drag one of them around with me lol

My surgeon say you go for a lose back. A tight cup and tight straps. That were bra fitting goes wrong. He said to me don’t get them to measure you coz there useless. Just get a load of different sized cup and back size ones a find one that fits you best. Hope that helps 🙂

I too was just about to start a post on this….. After 1 week of wearing normal bras my ribs are in agony! Seriously I don’t know what to do! Think I may resort to taking all the wires out. Xx

Got to the royce lingerie website. All their bras are non- wired and very good for everyday wear and also the panache super bra which im wearing in my picture as this is also non-wired. Aince my first BA in 2005 I have not been able to wear underwired bras as they hurt too much. Look these up on the internet they are lovely comfy bras xx
