Bras

What bras is everyone wearing post op. I bought 2 Macom bras which I’ve been wearing for the PAst 4 days. I’m so bloated at the minute that it’s digging in so much and making eating really uncomfortable. I’m also getting terrible stomach cramps (probably not related to the bra)
What’s bras is everyone wearing that they find comfortable? Do you know if I’ll do any harm if I take my bra off for about 30mins or so just to give myself a break? X

P.S sorry for all Moaning, feel as though that’s all I’ve done since my op! This post op malarkey is tough lol x

Hi For first 2 days I had Macom on 24/7 but last 2 days I’ve had Macom on at night ( I’m finding they roll up & sit in the crease of my insicions) to sleep in & put M&s high impact sports bra ( front zip) during the day which is nice as it’s really soft cotton, I did ask my nurse pre op if this was ok & she said it was but I’ve had no time without bra at all as I’m unsure x

I’ve got the post surgery m&s bra and it’s soooo comfortable. It’s the black one with the pink zip bit. You can prob get measured there too so you get the right size. You get the vat off when you get to the till too so works out around £20 🙂

Also I’m sure you can have an hour out your sports bra a day.
Iv got nerve damage at the moment and it’s quite uncomfortable so sit 10-15 mins without a bra on a few times a day to relief some pain. I’m 2 and half weeks po and have been doing this since 2 days po and it’s done me no harm. If your unsure though call your nurse and ask her. Good luck on your recovery Hun xx

Thanks girls. I ended up undoing the bra last night and sitting with it off for 20 minutes. Such a relief.
I’m on my way to M&S now to check out the sports bras there, hopefully I’ll find it more comfortable than the Macom x

Hey girls i have ordered a macom bra but was gokng to pop to m&s now to get a high impact sports bra im currently a small D/C and am getting around 275/300 Cc have no idea what soze bra to buy? Any ideas?

I’ve no idea sorry Hun. I was 34B and had 375 partials. I’ve just been measured in M&S as a 36DD. I bought the high impact sports bra. I just went to put it on and it’s so tight x
