    Hiya!!
    I literally have the worst memory in the world & can’t find anything on the paperwork about the breastband? How long do we have to wear it for?! I’ll be 4 weeks post op on thurs! I hate the bloody thing ?

    i had my op today and have one too my surgeon told me 6 weeks, i have barely had it on 6 hours and it’s driving me crazy!! haha xx

    It depends on your surgeon/nurse! On my surgeon’s personal website it says 3 weeks but my nurse insisted it was 6 weeks! I just did as I was told so as not to void any aftercare. They are awful though aren’t they, but worth it I think xx

    I had to see the nurse today after my incision looked a bit manky at the end where the knot is, she said wear it up to 6 weeks ….. 16 days and counting before I burn it haha xx

    Do they give you a breast band or do we have to buy one before? Xx

    They give it to you 🙂 the nurses said to me it was only a week, I really hope so!! Xx

    I think most of my aching and soreness is coming from the band, it feels like its suffocating sometimes! really hope it can come off asap xx

    It is annoying but if they advise you to wear it, then defo do. I’m 10 months post op and I’m still wearing mine to bed. My unders have taken ages to soften and settle. It’s such a long process.

    @lauren221 If your surgeon wants you to wear one then you will wake up from surgery with it on 🙂 no need to buy one xx
