breast band

i had my surgery last week and wasn’t told how long to wear the breast band for but i can’t stand it its so painful, I’ve spoken to someone who had similar surgery to me (unders) and she wasn’t given one however had a different surgeon
does anyone one know how important they are in terms of healing/dropping as i don’t want to do anything to prevent healing but am in agony

Hi ! I had unders 5 days ago and I also was told to wear a breast band .. I was in that much agony with it I went back to the clinic with an emergency appointment because I was sure there was something wrong as it was causing me pain. They gave me a bigger breast band and told me I could wear it slightly looser but tighten it when I can handle it ? And also take it off for 10 minutes at a time for a breather. They just said to me that it’s important for me to wear it because it will improve my end result and it’s for my own benefit in the long run, this large one is so much easier than the other one I had !! I also put gauze under my arm pits to stop it rubbing.

Hey. I had to wear a breast band and my surgeon was Dr. Linda Fiumara. I had to wear mine for 4 weeks. X

They keep the implants in place and promote them dropping, loosen it a little Hun. I was told 4 weeks to wear mine but your nurse will tell you at your post op. I don’t have to wear mine now but I keep putting it on as I worry something will be knocked out of place lol. Hope the pain settles for you soon x
