    Hi Joanne
I had the exact same problem as you.
Slight asymmetry and empty boobs after weight loss. I thought I’d just need implants to fill the skin but was told by two surgeons I’d need uplift and implants. At first I considered just having a bigger implant to give them a boost but my surgeon explained they would drop and ‘bottom out’ within 18 months and then I’d be back wanting surgery again as they would sag more.

I really wanted the fullness at the top of my chest and i now understand the only way for me to get that loook is to have the uplift. They will last a lot longer too and therefore it’s more cost effective. I haven’t had any babies (yet) so not being able to breastfeed was a concern.

I’m over it now and have my surgery booked for 31st July with Mr mounir in Preston . Just waiting to see him again so I can confirm implant sizes.
I know it’s a scary thought being told you need an uplift, I cried for days after my first surgeon consultation. But now I realise it’s the best option for me. Xx

I haven’t been for a consultation yet so I think preparing myself for it now will makes the news hit me better. I was initially worried about the scaring but I’ve been some brilliant pictures on here!
Like you say it’s much more cost effective as if I didn’t go for the lift I’d end up having to get it done eventually!
Il be also going to Preston!
Could I ask how much you are paying for both the enlargement and uplift?xx

Hi, I’m quite similar to you. After three kids and breastfeeding them, I lost volume and my boobs had stretched for DD’s for practically a year each time through pregnancy and breastfeeding. I’m 2WPO and had implants and not an uplift. Mr Mounir, my surgeon said I may need an uplift in the future, but certainly didn’t stress I needed one now. I think it depends on how much tissue you have and how far under your nipple it is – and I was ok apparently, maybe borderline. I really didn’t want an uplift, and honestly right now o can’t see that I would’ve needed one.

I wanted to fill my skin back up and it was never about having large boobs for me, so I went with his advice and had 300cc Unders. So far I’m really really happy, and I know there’s a lot of changing to happen, but even now they look and feel so much better.

Recovery wise I’ve been really lucky, I think it’s down to an average size implant and the fact that my skin hasn’t had to stretch so much. So far I’ve been really pleased with the whole experience and don’t regret it on the slightest.

Yes, I do have some pics. I had decided to wait till after 6 week check to post any as they change so much till then, and after. I do know that I found it hard deciding what to do as o hadn’t seen many pics of girls had similar boobs to me and after pics – perhaps I could email them? X
