Bruising!!! Advice please

Hello girls!
I had my op on tuesday and…
Im not panicking
but want to know if this amount of bruising is to be expected
As i have quite a considerable amount on my stomach and back…
Any advice would be greatly appreciated … little concerned cause i have had frequent arnica tablets 🙁

Hey. Bruising is really nothing to worry about. They are normal after surgery and some people get it worse than others. It’s also not uncommon for the bruises to be some distance away from the surgery area.
Hang in there and know that it will get better. Xx

Completely normal Hun – for some reason bruising effects some people more than others, it’s just one of those weird things! I had literally no bruising anywhere, then 3 weeks post op I had random bruises appear around my incisions, freaked out thinking it was an infection, but the nurse and surgeon both said it’s possible for bruising to take that long to come to the surface. So don’t worry if you get some fresh ones appear as well! Xx

Mine have gone straight to brown its mainly on one side all over my ribs n lower back then bizarrly this morning i noticed another two huge brown bruises on my girly area lol im not a worrier but i thought i better ask ….. thankyou @serenevictoria post op tomorrow – sure i can feel air bubbles in my chest feels so wierd – dont know how worriers cope with this op because there are so many random feelings

Yep there really are so many random things that happen! I’m the worlds biggest worrier and this experience has been an absolute nightmare for me! Haha, thank god this forum exists cause it’s helped me so much – I don’t know how I would have survived! Xx
