When I was pregnant I got some stretch marks over my boobs they are quite faint now, when I get my implants will I get even more!? And what will happen to the stretch marks I already have? I don’t want to end up with tons, at my consultation yesterday I got told she has only seen 1 person who got stretch marks over 7 years but I’m a bit worried! So has anyone had stretch marks before the op and what happened? Or anyone develop stretch parks post op??

Hi Sam. I have seen a couple of girls on here who have developed stretch marks after their BA. I don’t think it is really very common but it definitely is a risk if you are prone to them. I have stretch marks all over my body (hips, bum and boobs) from puberty and these are pretty much invisible now. I had an uplift and implants 5 days ago and the existing ones are less noticeable i would say as my skin was very empty so the lines were visible and now they are full they are not. HOWEVER I have already got a tiny little purple mark on one of my boobs that I am guessing is a new stretch mark. It’s not too noticeable at the moment and I am now panic smothering in bio oil but I expect it will develop. Gutted about it but i should have known I would! Although saying that as I thought I was filling already stretched skin I hoped those years were over 🙁 xxx

Oh really I hope they faid for you! I have quite a few on one boob and some on my bum but you Carnt really see them but I know there there and hate them even though they arnt very noticeable when I was pregnant I went to about a C cup and I’m hoping to be a D or DD after surgery I just hope I don’t get loads 🙁 I have quite abit of skin so like you say maybe when they are fuller won’t be as noticeable but I expect I will prober lay get more, are you glad you had them done will it be worth the stretch marks? Xxx

Hey, I always hear that stretch marks are unavoidable if you are prone but I applied bio oil to by cleavage the month before my BA. I’ve noticed recently (I’m 3 months po) that I’ve stretch marks on my under boob. It doesn’t bother me as you can’t see but I d wonder whether I should have applied bio oil in hat area as my cleavage is stretch mark free. Hope this helps. My advice would be to apply bio oil, cant hurt xx

I’ve never had a single stretch mark on my body and I started as a 34B and had 450cc under the muscle and have quite a lot of stretch marks now. You can see them a bit here but they’re actually darker than that in real life. At 6 weeks post op I noticed a tiny little pink line and then within a week I had loads of them. From what I’ve gathered from all the girls I follow on Instagram with BA accounts, they’re not actually that uncommon but they do tend to go. They don’t really bother me but if I’m going out and I’m wearing a top with them on show I might use a bit of makeup to cover them up. I still love my boobs though, stretch marks are a small price to pay for happiness 🙂 xx
