Hi hun, if it helps I have an extreme phobia of needles and injections. I’ve missed out on many things in my life because of this and have even passed out seeing cartoons having injections on TV before, lol! I had my BA a week today and literally the only injection was the canular being inserted, I was so nervous about the whole thing that I didn’t ask for any numbing cream or anything to make the needle better, and to be honest it was like someone just scratching my hand and I was sooooo proud of myself. The BA was so more of a bigger deal it hasn’t bothered me in the slightest, you will be fine, I promise you! And if it makes you feel any better, my last blood test I had the nurse drag me out of my car screaming and crying and ripped her trousers because I was so terrified. I then cried for 3 days non stop after lol! So… if I can do it, anyone can! I have all faith in you, good luck and just do it! Xx

You want to cancel because you’re scared of needles? I don’t think they would accept that excuse, not so close to the op. I’m also scared of them.. But learnt to live with it.
Just look away when they do it.. It happens so quickly you’d be out cold before you manage to faint:)
But if you’re determined to cancel still, then it’s not that important to you and you shouldn’t do it. I’m not being mean, sorry if it seems that way,but you need to be in the right state of mind and not do it lightly.

    Hi

Thank you all for your advice and wishes. Yana, is not that I am scared of needles or blood at all, I am very calm and could not care less that is not an issue but as soon as the needle is out, my blood pressure drops and I pass out, it also happens when I have any internal examination,it is a condition that is beyond the control of the person who has it, your blood pressure drops, you get cold and hot, your sight becomes blurry, hearing get distorted, you feel dizzy and sick and pass out, sometimes I will be laying down for 10-15 minutes after and still I will pass out.
Anyways, lets see what happens…. a bit disappointed that my PC has not called me back yet despite me texting her and emailing her ….. 🙁
