Closed Rhino with Dr G tomorrow – terrified!

Tomorrow’s the day, 11.15 admission at Highgate. I’ve been so excited up until today! Now I’m just soooo nervous! I’ve got all of my supplies, just really hope everything goes smoothly. Anyone else at Highgate tomorrow?

Just got home – around 4 hours after I should have done as my nose just wouldn’t stop bleeding and the nurses wanted to be sure. The op went fine (Dr G came around afterwards and said he was happy and it went well). Both he and all the nurses/op staff were all lovely. The only bit I got distressed over was when I was being brought round from the anaesthetic and I couldn’t breathe properly and my throat literally burned. After 45 minutes I felt fine – the nurse went and got me a MacDonalds as I was starving, after that I felt much better. I’ll keep you all posted! xxx
