Hi ladies….so my surgery is now booked for 4 weeks time!! I’m starting to get a few of the boys that I’ll need for surgery day and afterwards! I’ve read that people suggest button up pjs??? But can you get your arm far enough back In order to get the second arm in the sleeve? Or do you just buy massive ones??? Also, I’m sure I’m going to spend the first few days (at least) in the house chilling…the best I can (with 2 children!) but what tops do you suggest I buy to wear the first couple of weeks, I think I’m having a band also so that will need concealing! Any help gratefully received!! X

I was thinking that maybe the case with button up ones. Thank you, I’ll get some cami top type ones. What are you wearing during the day?? Congrats on your op! How are you recovering so far? I’m dreading the first week 🙁

I bought a few button up night shirt a few sizes bigger from primark to sleep in and have been wearing button up shirts & dresses to cover up the breast band! I also got some of the longline bandeau tops from primark which ive been stepping into like stacey mentions, I look so silly with buttons being buttoned so far up when its so hot right now haha xx

The nurse advises that you wear zip up clothing, so it is easy to get on. You are not going to want to lift up your arms to put a top on. After a few days you can start putting on tops that go over your head. I am not four days post op and I can get a top on this way, but I would suggest getting zip up clothing for the day of the op and wearing for the first couple of days.

I am wearing drop armhole tops in sizes 3x bigger so they are baggy and i just have to kinds of put my elbow through the arm bit as they drop so low down. In the houses and night times a have button up night shirt from primark again i went 2/3x bigger and that easily slips on and off x
