Can anyone advise on any comfy bras for post surgery. I bought the macom bra and wore that after surgery and it was ok at first and I’ve got a softer sports bra from Asda which again was ok but now they’re both really irritating me where the strips/ stitches are. I’m feeling sore/itchy and even had to get up in the night and get cotton knickers and fold them up and put them as a padding where i was hurting coz I was so uncomfy . Ha must look attractive :0 xx

Thankyou! Yeah I’m gonna buy a couple more of the cheaper ones and defo the softer the better. The Asda one £6 is good and you don’t have to pick a cup size, just small med or large! I think whatever ones I wear at the mo are going to irritate me where the strips are! Think I might have to get a roll of cotton wool and start putting that between the bra and strips xx

Yeah wish I’d bought them slightly bigger round the back now. I didn’t feel at all well last night, and was so irritated , sore and itchy where my strips are and just needed to sleep comfy so i took the bra off and have slept in a soft cotton vest top. Oops dunno if that’s bad or not but I was feeling too sore and uncomfy last night to care and felt like I needed to give my skin a break from having something pressing on it and making me so sore! Can’t wait for my check up fri and to have them taken off!xx

I’ve got a few of the Primark bras, come in small, med, large & xl, only £2.50 at the mo, nice & stretchy but still supportive. Wore a Debenhams cupped sports bra which cost me £22 & not nearly as comfy!

Yeah going out today but probably not near a primani but gonna try n find me a couple more of the soft stretchy ones. I spent over £40 on the macom bra, that was with discount and nxt day delivery :0 coz I was worried about having one that fitted for the hospital. I wish I’d just bought a load of the cheaper ones now. Oh well ya don’t realise at the time do ya! x

Hey Hun, I had my op on yesterday and currently wearing one of the tescos high impact sports bras. The materials is so soft and it is pretty comfy to sleep in. Maybe worth checking it out? http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/f+f-fuller-bust-sports-bra/invt/ca039055/. There is the link in case you want a nosy x

Thankyou I was looking at these but wasn’t sure about having the fastening at the back esp with sleeping on my back. I suppose they would be ok for out and about though 🙂 xx
