Does anyone the official complaints process for MYA? I am at a loss of what to do next and feel this is my only option.
I had my surgery in dec 2010, after 1 post op appointment I was told everything would be ok as I mentioned to them my left boob was very uncomfortable. After trying to complain to my PC for a few years (after waiting a year for everything to be ok) my complaint never got resolved as she was off a lot on mat leave. However I eventually got an apt 3 weeks ago and told the surgeon who did them that it was very uncomfortable and I have to wear a bra 24/7 and I feel like she just fobbed me off. She would not listen and told me it’s nothing, to her it may be nothing but to be its uncomfortable, it moves to one side when I lie down which has really knocked my confidence, I have to wear a bra 24/7 (which can’t be good) and unlike my right boob I can feel the implant at the bottom. It’s like it’s not in its pocket.
They offered me a second opinion but I haven’t taken them up on that yet as it’s far for me to travel and unless they agree to fix it it’s just a waste of time.
Any suggestions would be great. Sorry for the rant but I’m really unhappy and uncomfortable. Xxx
