Hi Jayde, i had the same problem i had a balloon belly for 5 days!! Honestly i tried LOADS of things, the only thing that acutally helped me was habing a chinese and a curry 2 days on the trot, it completely freed me up a bit of grease! Maybe because ive been good for ages eating healthy etc, but try orange juice and weetabix – high in fibre! xx

Hi Hun, without sounding crude I finally went yesterday morning and my op was on Tuesday! I’d been taking laxatives since Wednesday but nothing so just ate loads of fruit as it helps with constipation! I feel much better now but still bloated but that’s because I’m still taking the pain killers and antibiotics which bloat xxx

Sunsweet Californian prune juice. Drink one glass and wait for two hours if nothing happens then drink another glass. If nothing still then leave till next Day and repeat.

    It WILL work.

Hi Hun i stopped taking the co-codamol and within a day I’m not constipated or bloated at all, if you can manage without the pain killers Hun I would come off them. I feel so much better not taking them! Spent the past few days away with the fairies and constipated whilst I was taking them!xxx

    Hi jayde
Senoket did the trick for me it take 8hours to digest everything and can give you an upset stomach but is so worth it
You will be bloated for atleast another week. For me I was still pretty much looking preggas at even two weeks post op so it does take time but eventually eases off in its own time most of it is just build up water post surgery x

I felt awful the 1st week after my op. Because I was so constipated from the codine I had really bad headaches too. I drank loads of peppermint tea for the bloating and took senekot before bed. But the best thing was I made a spicy thai curry with Coconut cream and that deff did the trick! When you’re that bloated you feel awful and feel like it will never end and you will never get your bod back but just be patient it will all go back to normal. x

Don’t drink peppermint tea when you are constipated, this will make it worse!
I know from when I was pregnant that prunes (like dried or smoked prunes) will beat constipation, so yeah, that juice that Sian is saying should be good.
I am so bloated now, and 14 days to go for my BA (March 25) but I guess is empathy 🙂

    Yeahhhh lol.

prune juice works within the day and if it doesn’t then you can just take some more.

If you drink a glass a day then it will carry on working 🙂
