After years of wanting to be larger, I nervously phoned up today and got my consultation for tomorrow!!!. At 45 I thought I was too old and silly, but everyone I spoke to was so lovely and made me feel like I am doing the right thing.
Has anybody got any advice, as I would like to look and feel as natural as possible, what is the best type and is there anything I should ask.

Hi Maxine, I too waited so long for my new boobs and finally got them last week! Feels great. As for what’s best, and from what I was told by my surgeon, unders give a more natural look and overs more a fake look. But to be honest, the surgeon kind of decides what’s best for your body so you may not get much choice in over or under. I had to have unders because i wanted to go from A to D/DD. All depends on how much breast tissue you have to start with. You’ll get lots of info at the consultation but I’m sure anything you’re not sure about can be answered by someone on the forum. I’ve only been registered a few weeks but had so much help already. It’s a great experience and hope you get what you want from it? Xx

Hi I’m 12 days post op and I have large ish implants and look quite fake after having high profile overs 425/450cc. However my mum had hers done 10 years ago now (at aged 43) and she had around the 300cc mark and teardrop overs and hers are soooo natural. Hers still look great but she’ll probably have them re-done in the next couple of years and she’s nearly 10 years older than you. I say go for it if you want it and this forum is full of support 🙂 good luck! Xx

@Maxine your welcome! I have either been extremely lucky or it’s because I have previously stretched skin and have had overs but I have been absolutely fine since day 2 and haven’t taken pain relief to since then!! I’ve been up and about with my little boy then rested when he has and I needed somebody to do all of the lifting for me but I couldn’t of wished for it to go any better. When the brusing came out I felt tender and you know when you need a rest but I wouldn’t say I’ve been in pain! I really thought and was so worried that it would be a huge recovery process and that I was doing it at the wrong time in my life but I literally couldn’t be happier xx
