Contraceptive injection? Do I stop it?

My injection is due four days before my op so therefore there’s nothing I can do to stop it as it takes weeks to leave your system I’ve seen some people had been told to stop it I wasn’t told this at either consultations so I assume il be ok? X

Did you ask? Mine is due the day before my opp. And my PC said I can’t have it. She is not a medical professionals though and I have my pre opp tomorrow and gointment to ask the nurse if I can have it done 2 weeks before instead x

I’ve got my pre op in a months time so il ask then. They asked me whether I took any meds and I told them I have that but they didn’t say anything about it to me only said about the pill, does anyone know the reason behind why you can’t take that?

I had my depot injection 48 hours before my op as it was due a week later and wanted it out the way beforehand, I was told this was fine and I had no problems xx
