Correct fitting bra

Girls I can’t stress how important a bra that fits properly is!! My sports bra was too big and I was having shooting pains and burning sensations 24:7. I couldn’t move my left arm without getting stronger shooting pains but I changed my bra 4 days PO and the improvement since has been unreal. This bra supports me and fits me and properly. I’m 6 days PO now but I felt the difference within hours of changing my bra. I changed it at 8pm and by 10pm, I wasn’t getting shooting pain or burning and it didn’t feel like a big pull pain when I moved. I personally think my bra is why at 6 days PO, I’m not feeling quite as mobile as a lot of the girls are but please girls, get yourself a bra that supports! xx

What bra have you gone for?
I’m going with Mr kazzazi and know he uses strapping first. So is it worth getting measured for one just before the strapping is due to come off or buy a size I think I’ll be? That’s why I was thinking about getting a Macom bra. Xxx

I’ve always said that huni over the last 3years your so right many girls think it’s about comfort but it’s not the sports bra has a job to do at keeping the implants the implants up and off scarring and in place helps them to settle in and moves them down settle I’ve found none of the cheep sports are good they got no chance n standing strong for the job to be fair I’ve spent so much cash on my Dolly’s I’m not cutting corners on weak soprts bras xx

Hey huni Macon is not sports bra it’s used mainly for lady’s with breast cancer and things like that or breast feeding mothers my surgeon said he hates them x

@kelly3322 I have found that the asda zip front sports bra (http://direct.asda.com/george/womens/lingerie/zip-front-sports-bra/G004822550,default,pd.html) is the best. I’ve tried others and they didn’t hold me the same. This one now is amazing and holds me perfect, fits incredible and the support is great. I know it is a cheaper one but it seems to hold and fit me better than any of the others have. I know it sounds ridiculous to say that within two hours, they’re like different boobs but I promise you girls they are. Xx

Oh god yeah it’s important that they fit but 3years running for me hands down is the shock ab bra That fits bigger size implants as well the way still been trying to find others to match up but one that was ok was M&S sports bra but wasn’t as good but it’s worth a good shop around to find the right one it’s not going to do u any harm in finding the best ones debhams shock ab are the no1 sellers but a lot of girls don’t wanna pay out that kind of money which is fine but heather I will try that one out you recommend today when I do shopping as it’s always good to try other things and if better than wot I’ve got on that’s great stuff i will be over the moon as at the more I’m paying out £38 for my shock abs for quality and that Asda one will save me loads of cash xx

I don’t know if they sell them in store as I ordered mine online as my store don’t sell it. I tried a few on and this one just happened to be the best. I was really surprised actually as I expected it to be rubbish with it being cheap xx

The sports bra you was taking about wasn’t the shock abb range as the Debhams have there own brand which are different make to shock ab sports bra My Asda is big supper store and has the big George but at the top near Trafford Centre in Manchester but it’s well worth ago got no to lose I’ve found some of them at the front the band lifts up wear I can put my finger under it xx

Heather which size did u get ? And dose it work off width on back or cup size ? The shock ab I have now gose off width and it’s 36f but my normal cup size is 34GG/H xx

Erm 34E fits me great. I’m a 32/34 back usually but swollen so opted for 34. Xx

Agreed the shock absorber ultimate run bra is amazing… I had M&S front fastening and it was irritating my incisions because of the placing of the seams.
I went to Debenhams and got measured for an Shock Absorber Ultimate run and the difference is amazing. Its even comfortable too! I’d highly recommend it – Macom bra isn’t really supportive, it’s more like for sitting around the house etc I found – the shock absorber is really supportive. I’ve returned back to work no problem and feel really secure in it. Don’t skimp on Primark/Asda etc bra’s honestly! xx

I am currently wearing a back fastening M&S bra but really want a shock absorber. I went to debenhams today and the lady didn’t fill me with confidence. I tried a 34d which didn’t completely cover my boob near armpit if that makes sense but the dd was loose around the sides. Don’t want to ruin my boobs. HELP!

Sounds like u got the wrong size did which did u get ? I only use the uintaite run bra shock abb

I didn’t get one. I decided to go back tomorrow when the normal lady who fits me is there. My boobs don’t sit on my incisions and my M&S does feel fairly supportive but just heard shock absorbers are the best. I have 1 in a 34d but I feel like can’t breathe in it. Find it hard to believe I’m a 36″ though.

The thing is with the shock ab sports bra is not to be fitted for cup size it’s done off the width so for me my bust cup size is 34GG/H My shock ab ultimate run sports bra is 36F and it fits really well and stretched out to hold my swelling too and will go up n down to wot ever my beast size is my mum works as bra fitter at debhams in bury this is y I know so much about diffrent sports bra n stuff but bear in mind if you go up n a cup you drop down in the back size you go up a back a size you drop a cup size but to be fair you not going to get much use out of a sports bra that’s not your size so no wounder it could hold u in place

How to measure yourself

When measuring, remember to wear a bra, keep the tape measure straight and snug and make sure it’s warm!

A – CUP MEASUREMENT – Measure around your body at the fullest part of the bust. Don’t have the tape measure too tight that it flattens your bust.

B- ACTUAL AROUND BODY MEASUREMENT – Measure around your body underneath your bust. Pull the tape measure quite tight.

They do seem to be a different measurement.. I’ve been measuring a 34E but in the shock absorber I’m a 36D so they’re just a different fitting I think 🙂 I couldn’t even get the 34 fastened! Xx

Yeah that’s right KATE as they go off width instead of cup size but they have loads give in them mine is 36f and 34GG/H and still lots of room in the snap back I love mine to bits been looking around for 3 years now and still nothing comes close it xx
