DAY 5 POST OP. My progress and journey so far.. and I'm still a hippo!

I thought My right boob was smaller but was advised it was not enough for different size implants and it was more than likely that my muscle was just tighter on that side being right handed.

So honestly. I did not think it would be this bad. Iv handled and am still handling the pain really well. No tears, just a lot of gritting my teeth and not wanted to see or speak to anyone! It’s barable but I didn’t think it would feel like this anyway haha.
I’m soooo swollen. You can see from my pics that my waist looks double the size! The bloating is AWFULLLLL. 8 can’t cope hahha! The swelling and bruising on my chest wall pops out about 2cm more than normal but maybe that’s why I’m still in a fair bit of discomfort? Some people bruise and swell.. some dont. Il getting better though
You can see my boobies have dropped a little today! Can’t wait for my weekly check up on Wednesday!!
Woooop! I’m also going to get a sports bra from m&s after my check up for a bit of a break from my Macom and to give me more choice of clothes when I go back to work.

Thank you Molly! Can’t wait for my 6 week mark and look at the change! I got 350cc HP round 🙂 they will look big in my frame but still natural I hope, I’m veryyyyy happy with them so far!
The bruising looks bad but it’s actually okay, since the bruising has finally come out I actually feel a lot easier thank god

Sarah, if you are using a phone or tablet, turn it horizontal and it shows you the list of profile options down the side of everyone’s profile including their photos 🙂 xx

Me and the new twins are doing good thanks! I’ve noticed a bit of a change in them, and the pain is a lot less now thank god! I’m starting to get a reallyyyyyyy numb bum though from being on it so much! ???? Xx

Hollie ur boobs look amazing! I’m having 350 HP unders with mr Traynor a week on Wednesday and ur boobs have got me so excited I can’t wait, bet ur made up! What size sports bras have u got? I’ve got a Macom I wana order an M&S one too! Xx

@serenevictoria Awhhh fab! Yeh mine are only small changes too! I think I’ll notice more change after the 2 week mark when my swelling etc has settled enough for my implants to do some moving about ???? Have you got your 1 week check up tomorrow Hun?? Mines at 3.30pm and I actually can’t wait to get out the house and move about a bit!

@xxerinxx I’m still living in my macoms at the moment! I have the signature bra (but I find it soooooo tight over my boobs) so I’m currently in the Macom ibra
I’m going to get fitted at m&s sports bra on Wednesday so I’ll let you know what size I measure 1 week PO – at least you could get a rough idea off the size you will need then!
Good luck too! Try and just mentally block out the first 3 or 4 days post op, and keep on top of your meds! And moan all you want hahah. The first week does go quick 🙂 xxx

Aww that’s fab thanks Hollie, Ino I’m gonna put an alarm on my phone to take them every 4 hours I’m dreading the pain already so excited tho! Oh is it? I’ve ordered the ultimate Macom so hopefully that fits ok it feels comfortable so far so let’s hope it stays like that! Yeah that would be great if you could let me know what size u get because u look like a similar size pre op too! Xxx

Hi girls I am 7 weeks po now and had 350cc unders, I got a M&S sports bra in a 32 e and it fit me for the whole 6 weeks, I brought loads from lots of shops and also macom and the M&S was the best by far for comfort and support. Just thought I would jump in with the sports bra size, hope u don’t mind but I was clueless about sizing and couldn’t really find any info on sizing x

@xxerinxx Heyyy 🙂 just to let you know I ended up witha DD sport bra at 1 week post op
The E did feel comfy but it was too loos around my shoulders and where my arm pit starts because I’m quite petite up top

Defiantly worth ordering both but I could no where near fasten the D cup yet 🙂
I got one which was a post surgery sports bra and one with slimmer halter neck straps and more padding, just to give me a little more choice in what clothes I can wear 🙂 xx
