I’m feeling slightly emotional and teary today, it’s not from the pain I don’t know why! I have kittens and they keep trying to lay on me and when one tried to walk onto my chest i started crying as I was taking her off and then when I’m just laid down I feel myself getting teary. Doesn’t help I look like I’ve got boulders stuck on my chest and I’m about 5 months pregnant!

I’m hoping tomorrow I’ll feel better, I think I just feel frustrated 🙁

I just feel so sore all the time, nurse rang to check on me and said everything I’m feeling is normal. Trying to get through it, got my ice packs and pail killers keeping on top of them. I don’t think I can manage the swelling increasing, hoping you’re right about the first 3 days.

I’ve put my sports bra on over the bandages to help

Not really, it’s just heavy and quite uncomfortable, I can’t take a deep breath though.

Mine isn’t pain, more frustration I think

It’s normal! I cried 5 times on the op day and everyday for about 3 days after! Definitely an emotional roller coaster x

I was exactly the same. Getting emotional over the most ridiculous things and I’ve become a nervous wreck since having my boobs done. Like I daren’t do anything… I’m only just starting to feel ok within myself emotionally.. Physically I think I was ok about 3 week after but only yesterday was the first time I drove and I am 5 weeks post op. But you will get by hun, just think of the end result to keep you going ?Hope you feel better soon xx

Don’t get me wrong, I may just be too cautious. People recover at different rates, some people take longer, some a quicker recovery. It’s not so much pain either, it’s being limited to doing things that normally you wouldn’t have a problem doing quite easily. Also being so tight chested and struggling to breath, cough, sneeze, laugh. But it gets better gradually babe. Take it day by day. ? xx
