Hi girls, I’m nearly 3 months po now and my scars have become quite pinky redish. I’ve been using bio oil and heard about the dermatex strips and wondering if they’re worth the money. Anybody used them and had good results..thanks xx

Hi Trish, i had my op yesterday so just recovering (and loving the time off!), when did you feel that you could start using the oil? Just out of interest, i like to put a bit of a time scale to things 🙂 x

Mederma is AMAZING :O I’m not cleared to use it yet on these scars but I used it on my masecomy scar and it’s so light now ^_^ I plan to combine mederma with the micropore tape method, place a strip of tape on the scar after you use the mederma, change it every 4 days or anytime it gets wet, it pushes down the scar tissue and stops it becoming raised/lumpy and breaks down any lumps that are there whilst the mederma fades the colour. x
