I am just wondering whether you received any negativity and how you coped with it? I am 29 and a mother of 2 but just know that there are certain people who will judge me on my decision and think I am selfish for doing it. I work full time and would like to do something for me for 30th Birthday. How did you cope with people judging you? Xx

I’ve had nothing but positivity , most people are fascinated by it and want to Touch or ask about it. I wouldn’t worry too much I expect anyone who says anything is jealous x

People will always have negative thoughts about things specially regarding cosmetic surgery. So screw everyone else, if you are 100% happy with your decision that’s all that matters ☺

Yes I had some family members that I’m not very close to say negative things. This was before I even told them I was having it, I just mentioned I’d always wanted it. For this reason I haven’t told them I’m having it 100% now. It’s your life, your decision, your money. Do what makes you happy & tell them to fk off! Go girl xxx

Don’t worry what other people think, your not doing it for them, it’s your life do what you want. If the ask why… Say why not!? Everyone who’s asked me I’ve said that and they can’t say anything back xx

I haven’t had negativity but I would say that there has been a few people in the family who were quite shocked probably because they are more old school. Its not a big deal now days though, I have 2 daughters and i thought i’m doing something for me for a change! I sometimes thought to my self am I being selfish as i will be off my feet for a bit, but when would be a right time?? Never if you have kids! You only live once, its your body and your not hurting anyone. Besides it no one elses business! Go for it. xxx

hey. Im younger than you as I’m about to be 21, but my parents didn’t talk to me for quite awhile after I told them. They’re still not happy about it but they’ve accepted its going ahead and are fine to talk to about it now. My mum even apologised for her initial reaction. Other people I’ve had negative reactions from have all been of an older generation whereas people I’ve told in their twenties etc have just been very interested. Im not stereotyping whole age groups but I’ve just found older people tend to have negative views, i know thats not the case with everyone, I’ve told a colleague who’s older and she’s been lovely. I think the main thing i’ve learnt from it is to trust my own decisions and not let other people’s opinions affect how i feel. Also maybe just be slightly wary who you tell. I’ve decided not to tell certain members of my family such as my nan and uncles and aunties and i’ve only told one colleague. Im sure some people will notice and comment, and if they choose to be judgemental then thats their issue, i know my reasons as to why I’m doing it as I’m sure you do :D. It’s not easy being judged but i think you just have to remember the reasons why you’re doing it, and anyone who judges you for having a boob job needs to take a serious look at themselves. Anyone who loves you and is concerned, like my parents were, will come round eventually. Good luck 🙂 xx

I had so much negativity when I told people I wanted mine done, to the point where people from work were telling me such bad horror scare stories about what could happen that I cancelled my op, if you think you’ll get negativity then just don’t mention you’re getting it done. I’m saving again for mine now to get them done at the end of the year and I haven’t told anyone at work or my friends, only my mam and dad know now x
