Disgusted&fustrated at MYA- Waiting months for a correction op!!!

All I have been hearing for months and months is different stories from MYA staff and excuses. I am shocked at how unprofessional all staff have been in dealing with my corrective op needed.

I have just been left to feel unable to look in the mirror. The aftercare plan includes ”no care” just stories and putting you on hold with life…which means unable to make holiday commitments. I have been spending so much money on calling, time wasted…always having to chase MYA up. Staff always having different information. It is ridiculous, unprofessional and total lack of patient care. I was forgotten about basically and I am sure there is many girls in this same situation.

It feels like MYA just take the money…then leave you as long as possible to avoid having to fix things. I am currently 1 year 4 months Post op waiting on a op date and yet still having to chase up. It is completely not my surgeons fault at all. It is a shame MYA create this unnecessary inconvenience with their patients blaming it on procedure but funny that when I call no one knows whats going on or anything.

As obvious freedom of speech does not count on this forum and im sure forum management remove it as usual but all the girls have a right to know how unacceptable this is!!

You poor thing that’s just disgusting. I’ve heard many stories from girls in a similar situation as you so you’re not alone. I went with the hospital group and managed to get a ‘re op no trouble due to one boob ending up bigger than the other. Don’t give up and let them know you won’t let it drop. Aww no alli have u not been sorted? No doubt this post will disappear before your very eyes! They usually do! Wot exactly is the hold up? Who was ur surgeon again? Sorry to hear this is happening to you 🙁 xx

Thanks for your support…appreciate it! It feels like my surgery has been put on hold so eventually I run out of my aftercare plan and then they don’t have to do anything. The outrageous rubbish I have heard from PC’s, MYA staff is just so unacceptable. Just excuses all the time!!!! I mean I have to put my body through this again, I didnt plan to have to go through this again…once was bad enough….I even had to give up running due to my boobs and I use to run half marathons….I cannot surprise my boyfriend with a holiday for his birthday nor go visit my mother in South Africa because I am going month to month on hold waiting on MYA.

I havent seen my mother in over a year because I dont want to make any travel commitments if I hear news on my op….its so out of order by MYA.

Girls having a BA really do need to consider and realise all the aftercare things that go with it….all companies are so nice until they take your money and leave you to the wolves….I have cuts that sit flat on my skin , no where near my crease…I look awful….I even tried the band to help, nothing did….I just want to have this done and out the way so I can move forward…..thanks to MYA….I am stuck on hold!!!!

I know Charlie, It’s just a matter of time before this post gets deleted because MYA only lets your post ”good things” nothing bad, hence why we all left in the dark clueless….

I commented on a post other day about my expirience, soon as I commented it got deleted, its rediculous ppl need to see the negative reviews aswell as the good, whats the point in having a forum if its just going to bt messed with and made to look like its all Brill. i wish I’d have seen and heard preop about the Cons of it all cause I would have Defo had second thoughts, and also been able to make a correct desicion on a surgeon rather then just been given the one option and taking it. Hope you get it sorted alli 🙁 xx
