Does everyone wait 6 weeks to wear a normal bra?

Hey girls, I know they’ve said its 6-8 weeks that we have to wear the sports bra for. Was just wondering if anyone hasn’t had to wait until the 6 weeks are up?

I’m 5 weeks po and got my bra fitted yesterday! I feel all heeled now and wore it all day but still sleeping with sports bras x x

I waited until just over 7 weeks to wear one in the day time lol x

I’m nearly 6weeks PO, going to wait for my 6 weeks assessment with the nurse to get the go ahead to get measured for new bras …

I am 7 wks post opp and still sleeping in sports bra, wearing one during a day too…i wouldnt just go straight to normal bra but introduce it gradually, so 3/4 part of a day normal n then swap for sports bra…what u will start noticing is that ur incisions will go a bit redish at the end of the day n that is when i have noticed from my experience that i needed to give my boobies some break n that is when sports bra comes into it.
I wouldnt rush…listen to your body…if u feel ready then do it…its exciting isnt it xx
