Random question girls but I suffered depression years ago and I’m really worried this is going to set me back I regards to having to get reports from docs etc.

Is this something I can just not declare due to it being so long ago? X

Hi I was exactly the same and my surgeon has contacted my gp I think if you have been back to see your gp since you’re depression you should be okay they just need to check x

Mya will contact your doctors and ask for a medical report and ask if your GP believes there would be any contra-indications towards your surgery, but with it being years ago i’m guessing it wouldn’t really be a big issue especially if you havent had any recent treatment for it or anything xx

I had depression about two years ago, they just asked my GP to confirm I don’t suffer with it anymore, I’m sure you’ll be ok if it was a long time ago 🙂 xx

I had depression last year and ive not been told anything yet about not being able to go ahead with surgery. My surgeon just asked if I was still taking anti depressants which Im not and nothing more was said so I think you should be fine xx
