Dr Traynor

So I had my consultation with Dr Traynor today and he’s left me feeling a bit deflated.. He was so straight to the point and he didn’t even give me a chance to ask questions nor show him pictures that I’d like my boobs to look like. Is this normal?
He told me what size I could go, what implant type and that they were going to be overs.. I had no choice in the matter.
Just want some reassurance really and your first experiences with Dr Traynor.

Hi Hun I’ had my consultation with him to he is straight to the point and not that chatty but he makes his choices on what’s best for you. He told me I’m having overs because it is the best for me ect. so I’ve booked in with him for my opp next month with him xxx

@charlyybrownn1 he seems like he knows what he’s doing for sure, but he didn’t explain why I needed overs.. I was set on having unders tbh. My pc said he was in a grump though hah xxx

Yeah he knows his stuff tbh he didn’t say a lot to me I was the one asking the questions then he told me why I’ve got a bit more skin with losing weight I went for a D to a 32 small B that’s why he said overs would be better for me but I’ve seen a few girls photos on here and theirs look really nice and most of the girls said they wanted overs on here and they went allowed them but I’ve booked in next month for my opp with him I’m getting 375cc high profile overs hopefully they take me from a 32 b to a 32 dd xxx

@charlyybrownn1 I was shocked that he said overs to me as I didn’t even think I had enough breast tissue there, all he had to do was look at them to know! He’s offered me anything from 300cc – 425cc, I tried the sizes on and they looked good but quite big, my friend and pc said they suited my frame lovely so I guess it’s just because I’m not used to seeing boobs there lol. Did you go for the biggest size offered? I’ve seen most girls say always go for the bigger size but Dr Traynor made it clear to me the bigger you go the more chance of complications so that’s made me a little nervous xxx

That’s all he done to me to is look at them, no I’m not going the biggest he offered me I didn’t even try them on soon as I tried on the 375cc I new I wanted them, he mentioned the bigger you go they could drop over time but he didn’t offer me them to big so they will be okay he also said the bigger you go theft yet you look and I couldn’t stop laughing at that point with him being so straight faced ha, xxx

@charlyybrown well I told him he had the same name as my dad and he just didn’t say anything lol. I’ve booked my surgery date because I trust him, even if he was off with me I know he will give me amazing results. I am going to try the 400cc on when I go for my pre op. All very exciting, how have you found your journey so far? Xxx

I had Dr Traynor today at Preston and omg he is amazing at his job! I think he is the same with everyone he is just very serious and straight to the point! He will recommend the best for you as he sees thousands of boobs so one look at a patient and he will know what’s perfect for their body frame! I think he won’t have an opinion as he wants it to be totally your decision! I couldn’t be happier I left with exactly what I wanted! I don’t have any pains what’s so ever I feel like a new woman I’m over the moon I love my new babies! Hope this helps xx

He offered me 350cc right up to 450cc! I thought long and hard about what I wanted I didn’t want too big and too false.. I had no idea about the difference between over and under the muscle.. So basically he examined me and said straight away you can have over the muscle because I’m naturally a C cup so I thought if I choose the biggest they will look stuck on but they really don’t and there a little swollen! In the end I decided to go with the biggest 450cc as everyone I’ve spoken to says you’ll get big greed if you don’t and there really isn’t that much difference in the 25cc! I don’t have any strapping or band on literally just plasters on incisions and my sports bra xx

@courtney-xo it is a really big decision, are you happy with choosing the bigger size? How have you found recovery with overs? I’m only off for 7 days after I have mine! I’ve heard literally all girls on here say go for the biggest size but Dr Traynor pointed out that the bigger sizes cause more complications and when I tried the sizers on I liked them a lot but I thought you looked really big.. Hard decision! It’s good he hasn’t given you strapping or anything, heard they are really annoying xx

I couldn’t be happier I love them!! I’m back to work also in 7 days.. I think I will have a fast recovery with them being over the muscle as I’m in no pain what’s so ever I can move my arms and everything. Only thing difficult is bending over, sitting down, getting in and out the car! I was booked in for 8am, met Dr Traynor 9:15, went in 10:20 and was out in recovery for 11:05.. They let me go at 2 as I was eating well and had no pain or discomfort! Yes that’s true he would prefer you to choose a smaller implant as they wont drop or sag as much in years to come but I think he knows I made my mind up straight away when I first tried the implants on. Xx

@courtney-xo have you got any pictures on your profile hun? Would love to see your results! That’s good to hear, I heard overs were better and faster for recovery. Atleast I’m not the only one only have a week off! I thought I was being crazy but I don’t want to wait till September. That’s not too bad then pain wise, I hope I’m like that. Have you had any problems with going for the biggest size? By sag what does that actually mean? Xz

I will take some tomorrow! Yeah I think for overs 1 week will be fine to have off work and also to drive after.. But I will keep you updated on how I get on! I haven’t had any problems what’s so ever as I only got them done this morning im just dreading sleeping sitting on a 30 degree angle haha! Sag like if I lose weight or have children or breast feed then because there big implants there more likely to drop and sag more than if they were smaller and perk! I will worry about that when I come to it as of the moment I don’t think mine are very big do im over the moon I choose 450cc xx

@courtney-xo thanks hun! It will be lovely to see your results and watch your journey. Have you got all your pillows prepped and ready? I’m dreading the sleeping arrangement, I only have a double bed and my other half takes a lot of it so dread to think how a V pillow will go down with him haha. Overs have a nice round look about them and I like that! Even if they may sag over time it’s worth it.. Happy heeling 🙂 xx

Hi! I think iv spoken with u bout mr traynor before lol, but I had my op with dr traynor last week and honestly cant recommend him enough. He is really blunt but i loved that about him, he offers you what he knows your body will suit, this is probably why he didnt look at pics etc but he really is amazing. I told him i wanted massive boobs and he was just like, no. Haha hes brutal. I liked him in consultation say but op day he was even better he was hilarious. I got 375 overs in the end because im borderline uplift and so if i went too big id be saggy really quick, but im honestly so pleased with the results so far!! Xx

@xleamurrayx yes I think you have lol, he is definitely blunt and to the point but he seemed to know what would suit me so I trust him. Consultation he was proper off, but I’ve heard he’s always like that for a consultation. He’s supposed to be like a completely different guy on surgery day, maybe it’s because he enjoys the surgery part but hates the talking consultation part haha. How have you found overs? I haven’t researched about them as much as unders because I was convinced I was having unders. Nice to hear you’re pleased with your results xx

He managed to calm my mam down when she almost having panic attacks with worry and he even got her laughing so hes definately gifted haha. His sense of humour is just as blunt as his attitude but its great lol really helped put my mam at ease on the day. Tbf i barely had any pain until i woke up on like day 3 and got the biggest shock ever, i wasnt taking many painkillers cos i didnt feel sore but that morning i honestly thought id tore my incision it was so sore! I still (stupidly) went to town that day and aggrivated it more, so i stayed home day 4+5 and kept on top of my painkillers abit better so the pain eased off again and tbf the only thing i still cant do is lift my daughter much, i seem to be able to do everything else as i normal and its day 7 🙂 i was convinced i wanted unders too but all surgeons told me not to or id get double bubble but now i have overs im soo pleased im in love with them! X

@xleamurrayx Oh well that’s okay then haha! Bless her, I suppose it is scary for parents to witness their children getting surgery, my dad thinks I’m mental for getting it. I’ve heard a few people mention about not taking their painkillers because they thought they didn’t need go and then had real bad pain, I’ll make sure I’m pilled up till I need to be lol. Dr Traynor didn’t explain why I had to have overs tbh.. It’s good to love your boobies! Xx

I had 450cc overs I would Deffo go for the biggest offered otherwise you will always wish you went bigger. I went from a B and am wearing an E sports bra but that’s because of swelling. Will probably be a DD xx

@chloemoore did you feel like they were big when you tried them on? I felt like they were but in a good way. Also did your surgeon try to put you off going for the bigger sizes? Xx

Sorry Hun I’ve just seen this yeah that’s what I was like I trusted me I ment moth one surgant before hand but he did tell me much at all he told me to have a think about it and come back and see him but I new I wanted them done and he didn’t seem bothered, so I booked in to see mr traynor and he’s deffo the one for me but over all everything’s been okay I just wish the 14th would hurry up so I’ve have boobs ?Xxx

Hi Amber, I’m the same as you except i went from an E to a empty B and I got 375cc HP overs and i’m in a DD sports bra! XXX

Emm it’s on the 14th next month so not to long, when’s your? I just want it to hurry up now have you decided on what size your having yet? Xxx

@charlyybrownn1 you’ve not got long then! Mine is the 12th Of July, I haven’t found out what time my op is yet is that normal? I don’t want to be a nightcase.. Isn’t it going slow now the op is slowly approaching?! I am pretty certain on going to go for the biggest size offered (425cc) because I know I’ll get bad boob greed lol xxx

Hey yeah soon as you book it, it starts to drag because you no you have to wait. Yeah that’s right you should get a care plan soon then go and see the nurse for your post opp and she gives you more information. And you don’t get your time until 3 days before your due your opp I’m a day case and aww that’s what I was like I know mr traynor has ordered 3 different sizes for me and he’s trying 375cc and the rest are just incase their to big ect xxx

@charlyybrownn1 Oh geez I need to ring them up then and change my address, I was supposed to do it when I went to meet my surgeon but I never actually saw my pc. I don’t even know if I’m a day case and my pc never replies to me, could I find out if I rang the clinic? I don’t even know what Dr Traynor is doing with me, like if he’s ordering anymore sizes. O still have so many questions to ask xxx

My surgeon said for my build (5ft7″ and 10 stone) that he wouldn’t reccomend going any smaller than 350 but also wouldn’t go bigger than 450 because of sagging etc. Mine didn’t feel too big at all when I tried them on! I love mine xxxxx

I suppose the surgeon knows best. I had mr traynor too. I am so glad I went for the biggest option as I feel like mine have got smaller since then now they’re dropping and swelling has gone xxx

Yeah Amber you can ring up and ask them they tell you I got my care plan sent to me in a email shortly after I booked my opp and I said I’m a day case on it. And when I went to see the nurse for my post opp assessment she give me more information about it and told me he’s order 3 sizes but your best ringing up and asking to book your pre off assessment that’s what I done when you getting your opp?xxx

@chloemoore I’m going for the biggest size offered to me as well, made my mind up and I’m not changing it lol. Overs apparently get bigger after dropping properly, haven’t you found this?

@charlyybrownn1 I rang up yesterday to change my address and I asked then if I am a day case and they said yes, they also said they’ll email me a care plan but I haven’t had it so I might message my pc in the next few days if I still don’t get it. Feel better today as I’ve been messaging my Pc all day about why I feel worried and she’s answered everything I needed to know. What’s the pre off assessment? My ops the 12th of July so I’ve still got a while to go. Did you try on your sizers again at your pre op? Xxx

I haven’t found this yet no I feel like mine have got smaller but I’m only 2 and a half weeks post op xx

Aww that’s good that you no a little bit more now, it’s was meant to say pre opp not off ha. No I didn’t try them back on you just see the nurse but on the day off your off you see mr traynor befor hand to make sure your happy with the size you picked I’m sticking to 375cc but he’s ordered 350, 375 and 400 in its just in case 375 is to big because once they try them in they could look to big and ripple so it’s just a back up incase that happens xxx

@charlyybrownn1 my pc said she sorts out what gets ordered for op day so did you ask for them all to be ordered or? Xxx

I had 450cc unders and I love them so much. I nearly panicked on the day and asked him to go with 400 because I thought they’d be huge but they’re perfect! I’d be disappointed massively if I’d gone any smaller. Your surgeon wouldn’t recommend anything too big for your frame! Although actually I want to be even bigger ? This is 2 weeks post op ? x

@jlst they look so good, especially for only 2 weeks post op! It’s just hard to imagine what they’ll look like isn’t it, before I booked my op I saw girls stressing about choosing the size to go and thought nothing of it, now I’m the one stressing about it haha. Oh no you haven’t got boob greed have you ? that’s what I’m hoping I dont get! I’d be happy if mine turned out the size yours are xx

No Hun when I went to see the nurse you told me I didn’t have a clue I fort it would just be the 375cc xxx
