Drains?

Worrying about drains believe it or not ! Not worried about the surgery cos I’ll be out of it but don’t like the thought of the nurse pulling drains out of me whilst I’m awake!! Does it hurt? How big are the drains? Where are they inserted??

It’s just a really strange sensation. It’s all over in a couple of minutes but it isn’t comfortable. In the side of each boob, I know each surgeon puts them in differently but mine were held in with a stitch and I had two drains each side. Some people only have one in the middle x

I also had two drains. Panicked when I found out that I’ll have them attached to me when i wake. But it’s not bad st all, your going to be all drugged up anyways. It’s a weird sensation when they take them out but not painful at all. Had my surgery 21/02/2016 xXx

Not all surgeons use drains. I didn’t have drains or strapping. Every surgeon is different xx

Hi Hun I also had 2 drains they didn’t hurt when removed just a strange sensation I could feel mine come out from over the top of my boobs and out the side ( very strange sensation lol) but no pain x x x

I’m worrying about drains too! I havnt even booked a consultation yet, still saving, but reading about drains makes me feel physically sick.. I’ve had to stop reading some of the above!?? I’m too squeamish haha! Xx
