Drinking

How long did everyone leave it before drinking alcohol again after the op? well after the antibiotics, i finished mine yesterday so just wondering when people drank after it cause i no they say 2 weeks but im sure people dont stick to that!! x

I drank the day after i finished my antibiotics 🙂 xx

I asked this recently and I was told the guide lines is two weeks but providing youre not on a massive weekend binge and you have finished your anti biotics… I was told ‘ the odd glass of wine certainly wont hurt you’ xxx

And were you okay romy?
I no that’s what I got told but they also say 2 weeks before which I didn’t do either. Yeah I won’t be drinking loads at all just a few glasses of wine Fri and sat xx

Yeah i was fine 🙂 i got pretty drunk aswell haha.. But i dont think its affected my boobies in anyway what so ever! So aslong as you dont fall over head first you’ll be sweet xx

Haha ok did you drink a lot? How were you the next day? Just don’t want it causing sickness that’s it really. But like I said I’m only having a couple of glasses of wine not as if I’m drinking loads xx

Yeah, i can never just have ‘one’ drink.. Especially being a student aswell, ive got no self-control! Lol.. I was fine the next day.. Obvs abit hungover but nothing out of the ordinary! You’ll be fine 🙂 xx

I drank some wine 3 days post op and I actually felt better for it, it somehow made me relax and forget about the pain for a few hours! X

haha no im the same romy i can not just have 1! theres no point haha. but ok thats good to no thanks girls! 🙂 x

I’m going to a wedding 2 days before my op gutted I can’t drink 🙁 weddings are boring unless your drunk!! Haha

thats rubbish! i had my op last thurs and drank quite alot on the sun! but thats a few more days before then yours! x

I was told no drinking 72 hours before your op! What we get told is so inconsistent!xxx

I drank 3 days after as went up to uni
and got pretty plastered and I felt ok 🙂 X

I was told 2 weeks before!! I don’t see why as I no it thins your blood but surely as soon as the alcohol is out of ur system ur blood returns to a normal consistency

yeah i got told 2 weeks before but i drank on bank hol sun and i drank alot! i think there just extra careful arent they!
did you drink 3 days after your op or antibiotics romani? xx
