Hi.. I’m booked in for my opp on Wednesday the 17th, but at a wedding Saturday the 13th and was just wondering if any one knows whether or not I can have a few drinks at the wedding? I asked th nurse the other week n she said around a week before dont drink, but in my paperwork it says don’t drink for 48 hours before? U think I should just not drink? Xx

Try not to drink red wine if poss- that’s the worst for blood thinning. A few glasses of white or spirits should be fine x

It says in my paperwork not to drink for two weeks before!! I was gutted having my last glass of wine last night but by the sounds of it I could actually drink for another week or so according to your surgeons! Yeyyy lol x
