driving

hi girls just wondered how long it took before you could drive again? I’m 9 days post op xx

I’ve been driving since 8 days post op I just struggle with reverse do just use 2 hands lol xx

I drove last night for the first time and I was 13 days post op. It was absolutely fine! When I had my check at 8 days post op, the nurse said I could drive when I felt up to it 🙂

Is it still about 8 days for girls with partials x

I had my op last Wednesday and drove to the metro centre yesterday which is about 20 miles and felt fine. Think it all depends on the individual and how your getting on with the pain. Legally it’s just the 24 hours after anaesthetic you can’t drive, the week or 2 week is just guidance as to how long to leave it. You’ll know in yourself if you can manage with the driving xxx

did all you girls have it under the muscle? it absolutely killed when I tried and only drove about 100 yards down the road! 🙁 xx

Hi, i drove after 7 days, needed to for work. Felt slightly uncomfortable steering at first but i just too my time. x

I had unders chick and drove 3 days post op my boyfriend was in the car and had to put it in 5th gear and reverse for me but by 5days post op I could do it myself xx
