Driving after op..

Hello ladies, how long did you all not drive for after your op? I’m trying to take the shortest time possible off of work once I’ve had the op xxx

hey, i was driving 6 days after my Op, but everyone is different x

Hey they say you can at 7 days but my fella said no not till 14 days, as when I went for a test run it felt a little uncomfortable going into 5th and reverse….although I found driving my Moms car a little easier as gears are closer together…..I think its down to what feels easiest……but defo not for the first 7 days 🙂 xx

Ooops I drove on day 4!!! I was only told not to drive for the first 48 hours due to anaesthetic but not anything else. My car is automatic so that probably helped. I felt fine but when I was reverse parking / turning the wheel hard it was quite tender across the top of my chest x

The doctor told me yesterday after my ba not to drive for 7-14 days, as u need to let yr body heal x

No probs, I just went with how I was feeling and felt up to it at that time. Might be worth asking though if others have been told 7 days, I’d hate for you to void your insurance or something on my say so :-/ x

I won’t drive till day 6 or past that anyway’ just didn’t wanna take more then a week off work if I can help it, how long did any of you take off work after op? Xxx
