Was just wondering how long implants can take to drop to the “natural place” I had asymmetric breasts so one implant is sitting higher than the other for the moment, it’s only noticeable when undressed but amwondering if its up to a year for them to drop, also when do they start getting softer? And are there any other things they do over time?

From previous posts seen on the forum I believe it’s about 6-8 weeks? Everyone is probably different though..

I have my consultation with surgeon Mr Traynor on Monday do you mind if I add?

    🙂 x

You will notice them softening quite soon. I’m 6 weeks 2 days po and mine are really squishy now. They can drop at complete different times. Were you told you would achieve symmetry after surgery? Xx

Yes was told I was going to achieve symmetry but it wouldn’t be instant that one of my breasts would drop, can’t wait for it o happene because then they will be perfect! Sure you can add x

Hi, I’m nearly 9 weeks post op.. And mine have softened more the last couple of weeks. The right ones still a bit hard, but need to be patient. I’m supposed to massage them three times a day with bio oil, maybe you could try massaging yours (6 weeks ) u can use bio oil if scars ok…. Xx

I’m also asymmetrical Georgieanne and would love to see your end result if you don’t mind, if you’ve been told you will be symmetrical then have faith in your surgeon I’m sure they’ll drop nicely and look fab! I pleased you’re so happy with them! Xx

Mine are quite soft, and feel lovely, at the moment im just using coco butter for stretch marks (although have none surprisingly!) until im 6 weeks then I will start massaging bio oil properly, but by the looks of my scars right now they are so small, and clean and under my breast, so could not ask for anything better.
Danielle – At the moment I dont have any pictures up, I may possibly put some up soon, or even if i just sent them personally to email or something, what is the difference in yours? I was 34a & 34 Big B, the surgeon reckoned a small C, so i had 265cc & 415cc and when the 415cc drops to the same height as the 265cc I know they will be perfect, They were a great size to go for too as I am small framed x

Danielle – im seeing my surgeon next week and will see what she says when she sees them, then i will say my doubts, i think when my bigger implant drops they will look the same,
but you cant notice it in a bra, just when undressed, speak to your surgeon, as the reason i had mine does was to get them at least nearly the same size as they cannot be extremely precise as no natural breasts are, with that in mind my surgeon knew when she was operating on me i wanted them as symmetric as possible, obviously due to the massive difference in implant size, so i have hope that they will be fine x

    Menu

That’s my main reason I want it done! Like I don’t care the type of implant or the shape I just want to be even and natural! Xx

    Menu

Oh i thought you had had it done already! Ive been told that they heal at different times so one may be more swollen than the other,
ironic that the breast that has the smaller implant is more swollen than the one that had the bigger implant, i don’t know whether this is because the skin is so stretched on the other that it couldn’t stretch anymore? but I am happy at the moment , either way they will always be better than they were x

Hi found this post so glad only found out I’m assemetrical on my op day dr Singh said sorry he hadn’t noticed before . I’d stopped looking at them had always had one slightly bigger than the other . One implant is now higher that the other. Hadn’t done any resurching into it before , only had my op yesterday , do you think he would have fixed it.?xx

Surgeons I would say want a good result as much as you do, maybe he has, I don’t k ow your stats , but the bigger implant I had on one breast is sitting higher than the other as my skin needs to stretch and boob needs to drop x
