    Hi girls I’m 5 weeks 2 days post op and just about to go to the gym for the first time since! Im not going to do any weight training etc just bike znd cross trainer, I’m going on holiday in 4 weeks and desperately want my flat and relatively firm tummy back. Anyone any tips on what exercise thry did after ba without using upper body? Thanks 🙂 x

    I did lots of cycling, squats on a wobble board, lunges with weights, crunches, reverse crunches, sit ups holding a med ball and planks. I hate the cross trainer as my arms don’t know whats going and get left behind haha xxx

    Wow a good selection there then thanks hun! Were you ok with planks and crunches etc?? How many weeks were you when you started? I just did the bike for 30mins and was terrified lol Xx

    I started bike and legs after my 1 week check as the nurse said I could, but I did double check. I started jogging at about 5 weeks but just gentle, wore two sports bras and did crunches and planks, but I had to for my job – so if you don’t need to then don’t as there is lots more you can do. From my 7 week surgeon check I was back in the gym as normal (with permission lol) but found lifting weights, especially above my head difficult and weird, so didn’t. Im 15/16 weeks post op and pretty much back to normal but don’t like pull ups yet 🙂 xxx

    Thanks hun, will just keep going with bike and jogging for now then! Haven’t got my 6 week check for another month which will actually be week 10 so I don’t want to wait till then! This one is a bit off subject but how did your boobs feel at week 6? One of mine constantly feels like it’s being pressed like a sort of tight tugging! The fact that it is only in 1 freaks me out! Did you have overs or undrs? Xx
