Fake tan post op?

So I’m going out for a bit later and I’m a week post op, I was wondering whether I’d be okay to wear fake tan and just avoid my boobs, I’m worried about when I’m showering it off mainly and it going near my incisions xx

Good point, I’m 7 days po & going out tomorrow night. I was going to fake tan tonight and just avoid anywhere near my incisions but hadn’t thought about the showering off part! xx

I think I’ll go for it and just use baby wipes to get off as much as I can on my chest/shoulders before getting in the shower xx

Yeah think I will, might just cover it up with something taped over whilst I get in shower xx

I really want to put some tan on but I rang my PC today and she said I need to wait to my 1 week check which is annoying 🙁 xx

I just had my one week check today and the nurse told me I was fine to as long as I went nowhere near my boobs.. I guess it all depends if they think you’re healing well at your check up as she only told me so after she’d had a proper inspection. As long as you’ve been recovering with no probs I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem! x

Put a small flannel or something like that over your incisions when you wash off your tan, that’s what I did and they were fine 🙂 xxx
