    Hey all my February girlies,

    How is recovery going for you all? I’ve not really posted much since my op! I get my strapping off tomorrow which I cannot wait for and I will post some pictures! Any of you girls had trouble sleeping? I’ve been fine up until 2 nights ago and now I’m really struggling with sleep! 🙁 xxx

    Hey Holly, I’m POD3 today and still feeling sore but I’m so so itchy from the strapping too, can’t wait to get it off. Iv been sleeping okay iv got a bit v pillow which is a life saver, but sitting up is putting a lot of pressure on my tail bone and it’s really starting to hurt and feel bruised 🙁
    Have you been wearing a bra over your strapping? Xxx

    hi glad to hear your all recovering well im pod9 and still waking every 4/5 hours. It’s lovely having the strapping off, im so swollen that still gona continue sleeping upright and from what ive read 2 weeks of it should do. I know what you mean about the tail bone pressure im sure mines bruised.. ive been making sure I put a pillow under my legs near knees and thats taking some of the pressure off. Mine are really tickly would describe it in the mornings and this morning i thought felt a bit softer too. My friend bought me a pack of two post op bras from asda yesterday only £12 and they are a really comfy alternative for a short break. I do keep looking and thinking should I have gone bigger .. but from reading this forum that seems like the norm, and theres no way id repeat the process, so hopefully when the drop and fluff takes place I wil be happy. When do you get your strapping off Jess? x

    @jessbenny I just can’t get comfortable anymore! My whole lower back aches! Doesn’t help that I’m back at work although I have a supportive chair at my desk so I should be fine! I have been wearing my bra over my strapping, mainly as the nurses put my Macom on after my op and I didn’t ask questions on whether I had to wear it! xx

    @aaaangell
    I’m going to try the pillow under legs tonight and see if that helps me! I walked from the tube station to work today and it’s literally a 3 minute walk but I was soooo out of breath! I’m just assuming it’s normal to feel like that! I’ve tried to not look at too many peoples boobies on here now that I’ve had mine done as I know I’ll get boob greed so bad! So if I don’t look I won’t know 😉 xxx

    Yh the nurse put my macom on over my strapping before I left the hospital but I had to take it off the next day as it was causing so much discomfort and I couldn’t breath. I’m sure it’s okay though cos the nurse at my pre op told me I wouldn’t have a bra just the strapping and my paper work also says the same.
    I’ll try the pillow under my legs aswell tonight thanks Sabrina

    Hey girls, I am also POD3 so Jess I know how your feeling! I get my strapping off tomorrow thank God. It’s so uncomfortable and itchy and tight and just bloody awful!! I have been wearing a bra on top of it too because straight away it came apart in the middle so it was no longer pulling them together. I just want to make sure they are as supported as possible! As for sleeping I had none the first 2 nights it’s just so uncomfortable! And last night I think I just passed out with exhaustion but did get a full nights sleep. I’m definitely going to try the pillow under the legs thing any advice is gladly welcomed right now. I don’t know how much longer I can cope sleeping sat up! Xx

    I’m on day 7 today. I’ve stopped wearing any bra for a while during the day and just wear my breast band. My macom is just too uncomfortable and is hurting my nipples.

    A tip for sore tailbone, if you have one of those round neck pillows, try fastening the ends together and making a circle with it, then sitting on it with your tailbone through the hole. Or see if you can buy a round ‘pile’ cushion – same thing. 🙂

    Ahh I shall have a look on eBay lou thankyou. I know jess i was shocked too i was expecting not to be going back till Friday but not complaining, it’s so stuck on in places I’m dreading it. I have my nips out though and it’s like just from side to side so meets in the middle and it’s come appart so that’s why I put the bra on. If it’s uncomfortable with it on then it’s fine to leave it off they actually told me I don’t need to wear one but I’m so paranoid they will settle really far apart or something as it’s come looser so that’s why I put one on just to give me that little extra support. I hope I’m not damaging them lol xxx

    Ohh okay, if it’s come apart a bit I’m sure it’s fine though cos you’ll probably need that support. I’m also a bit paro about them being fat apart but my boobs pre op were anyway. I think we just worry to much haha it’s so hard not to though isn’t it xxx
