Feeling awful!

I’m 16 days post op & my recovery has been fantastic & I am ecstatic about my results. But past few days when I feel tired my boobs get all tingly & I feel like I have a chill, today I feel worse & quite sickly. I have got to say MYA are fantastic & so is this forum I posted a couple days ago about my chill & cold boobs & head office have seen my post & contacted me today to go in & see the nurse so I am going in tomorrow!
I’m worried now & hoping it’s nothing serious, I feel so sick & tired now & I feel as if I have been beaten up because my ribs are killing me! My incisions look fine & not red or sore, so I’m hoping it’s nothing.

Definitely better to be safe than sorry! Although I think sometimes it could be a case of you just being ill and your body is in over drive if you’re coming down with flu for example. I’d imagine your boobs would start feeling weird the same way your bones and joints can ache too x

That’s what I’m hoping Charlotte! My recovery has been so great & had no pain at all…but the past few months have been so hectic for me the past 3 days is the 1st time in a while I have been able to relax so I’m hoping it’s just the flu trying to worm it’s way in! Plus my little boy has been an absolute terror the past 2 days I’m sure that doesn’t help! xx

Exactly the same thing has happened to be (but Im pre op) – this week I’ve totally chilled out and Im getting the worst cold. It’s the temperature changing. One minute cold, the next muggy and with it being cold during the night and humid during the day I think it’s likely to be that! Especially given your incisions are fine. I’d say just call the emergency line to be on the safe side.

Did you have overs or unders? I find people with overs tend to say they experiences really limited pain x

Yes it is!
Well mya contacted me so I’m going into see the nurse tomorrow. I had overs & my sister had overs (we had them done together) I’ve had no pain but she has had lots so I just think it’s different for everyone xx

Im sure be ok hun especially if your incisions are good etc.. there is so much going around like that, so hopefully its nothing to do with your boobies 🙂 hugs xx

Well I have been to see the nurse today & my boobies are fine & my incisions are fine & I’m settling nicely! She has told me I need to relax as I’ve been doing too much & I need to take it easy as I seem to be getting run down. The cold tinglyness in my boobs seems to be the nerve endings knitting together & the reason my ribs are sore & I feel like I’ve been beaten up is due to having a. Large implant size!

So happy I have nothing to worry about! As much as head office scared me yesterday with the surprise phone call I’m so glad they check this forum to check up on us ladies.

So I will try for an early night! Xxx

That’s so good to hear and I bet you are less anxious it’s hard to relax when we have children thou lol but glad u are getting better x

Yes I am! I still feel pretty rubbish but it’s just me being run down, it is so hard to relax with kids easier said than done. I had to pick my little boy up too which doesn’t help he’s a big boy for 3 and I’m only little! Thank you xx

Glad it was nothing serious. Would be good if all us post up ladies could have a relaxing bubble bath with nice oils…!! But we can’t before 6 weeks

I’ve been pretty run down since my op, I’m ten days post op from my breast reduction. The antibiotics gave me side effects which have now gone but now I’ve got mouth ulcers plus ulcers on my uvula from the tube being down my throat during surgery, its agony!

It’s not good is it! I just feel shattered…hate mouth ulcers they are just so irritating! I hope your relaxing too!!! Get well soon xx
