    Hey girls!

Just want to say thank you to all the girls on here. All the advice and support has been invaluable and made the experience so much better. Think I was beginning to drive my family and friends mad talking about every intricate detail of my breasts so really nice to have somewhere to turn to.

I had my opp on Monday morning (375 HP unders with Dr Marcelliono in London, The Fitzroy) and had my strapping taken off yesterday – slightly earlier than planned because the nurse and I couldn’t work around my work schedule but all seems good so far. Still have a few weeks of recovery ahead of me but finally feeling human again today – from not sleeping at all the first night, the pain has reduced signifcantly and the swelling is going down gradually so off to the hair dressers now! 🙂

Took some pictures on my phone today so will upload them later. Feel free to add me… happy to help with any questions like all the other girls have done for me leading up to my opp. Only thing I would add, is that the nurse (politely) told me off yesterday for not moving around enough. I’ve been using my left arm so much more than my right because it was less painful and my left boob is so much better for it – way softer than my right. She sternily told me that I need to moving around and doing things with my arms. (no heavylifting though obviously!) just a thought for those in recovery.

    All the best girls!! xxx

Hey Caz, thanks for the post. My strapping is coming off on monday. I’ve also been moving my right arm more than my left because it’s less painful. Am gonna start using my left more from now. Thanks for the tip. How is your pain now? Did she give anything more for it? My boobs at the moment are soo sensitive to the cold. They shoot up like rockets about to take off, hehe!! Happy healing hun. xxx

@sharks feeling miles better than when I last spoke to you. She didn’t give me anything new for the pain, just told me to ice my right breast to help it catch up with my left one. Ha! Bet you can’t wait for Monday – I’m finding it so much easier to move without the strapping. Also changed from the Malcom bra to my sports bra which feels so much better. Good luck! Excited for you xx

Hey @jab1505 quick disclaimer *my pain threshold is very low* ha! I could move my arms but it was quite restricted. Needed help getting dressed on the day of the op but it got better everyday and could raise my arms more and more. As soon as the strapping came off, felt miles better and could move my arms fully. Back at work tomorrow (will be 7 days PO) so the pain really is quite short lived – I wouldn’t worry about it at all. Totally worth it! xx
