FEELING JIBBED!!!!!

Hi Ladies, well its PO day 5 for me, and feeling quite upset, and Jibbed! I went out today to buy a black sports bra, or just something black as Macom didn’t have any black in my size.. so had to get 2 white. Feeling really upset. After trying quite a few on, can’t help but feel disappointed. I usually measure a 36 chest, but due to swelling I’m having to wear 38.. and at the moment i’m only filling a B cup. When I had my Surgeon consult, I told him I would like a D cup. I trusted him as he was the professional, and knows what he is doing. But it looks like the 375cc HP overs Ive had are too small for my build. Brilliant if you very slim, like most of his clientele , but seriously looking at them I feel I should have gone to at least 450.. I had my concerns over this matter, as I know i’m quite a big build, but didn’t question it… Ive felt that they look small from the minute I saw them. Just wanna cry right now, as Ive waited 20 years for this, looking at all these gorgeous boobies on this forum and to be so disappointed is heart breaking. My husband is very supportive, he loves them, but considering I had nothing, anything would be better. But still its not the same as you image in your head, being able to fill a D cup, have a nice set, after having nothing for so long. Is there any other ladies that have had this happen, and what did you do.. Thanks Ladies…xxx I have pics up for friends.. have a look and tell me what you think..xxx

Hey @chipmunk sorry haven’t got back to you yet. I can only imagine how your feeling. I can’t lie I have had some boob greed over last couple days. But went to get my strapping off today and I am so happy with how they look. I would love to have them bigger aswell but I’m just thankful of what I have got now. Remember they drop and fluff out and this may not happen until all least 6 weeks. It’s hard when you have a image in your head and they don’t look like that straight away. How has your recovery been so far. Keep positive. I’m always here if you need a chat xxxx

Hey Jo I totally understand where you are coming from. I’m 3 days post op having had 400/450cc overs and I feel like they still look the same. We need to try and remember that we’re early down the recovery line and have yet for it to drop and fluff. I know that it is hard but just try to have a positive outlook on it. Hi @GEMMA, thanks Hun, that’s fine you’ve been resting I hope.. Lol.. ( sorry mother hen I am, ). Glad you doing good. I’m fine, no pain just the extreme tightness, like they can’t possibly swell anymore. But I have got mega bruising.. Prob the worst I’ve seen, all they way along my incisions( which hurt btw) and it’s coming out from my tape, swabs. Other than that I’ve been good. Yeah can’t help feel that they should be bigger. But seriously this is the luck I have. Thanks for listening Hun.. Big hug xxx

@SIMONE and @CHANTEL, thank you for your concern, its just good to have ladies to talk to, as none of my family and friends know I’ve had this done. They all live in Australia, and I’m flying back in 5 weeks to be bridesmaid for my brother, so was hoping to surprise everyone. Thank you all for helping me stay positive.. dearest jo! i feel for you and can imagine how you feel. it’s probably to do with you emotional roller coaster as well at the moment. to me they look so fresh and perky, look so youthful! i’m a fan of boobies being “not obvious but there when they’re needed”. think about not having to buy new clothes but fill the old ones perfectly. also they will/might look different when they have dropped a little. i’m sorry if i’m talking nonsense but i really hope you can be happy. my heart goes out to you xx

@DI ULYSSES, Thanks hun for you support, just absolutely devastated..I’m hoping so much that when they soften and drop they’ll be better, but to fill a D cup is being too optimistic I think.. My mum says. at least its more than what you had, but its not the same, you only get one chance at this, I finally thought my body was going to be in proportion, my top half balancing out the 3 caesars overhang, hips and bum. and for me to finally do it, was massive.. its also the money, who can afford to do it again.. But none of this has happened.. just gut wrenched.. I just hope that all you ladies that have had them done recently enjoy them and are happy because I really would hate anyone to be feeling the way I do right now… Thanks Di.. for listening(reading)….xxx

Hey Hun just a thought as I haven’t had mine yet but I’m pretty sure while you’re still swollen you have to remember that all your skin is swelled outwards and the difference between your chest n boobies will be a lot less!! As you’re swelling fades your implant will stay the same size and your cup size will increase as your back size decreases… If that makes sense??? I hope you feel better in time remember you’re so early on !!! Xxx

Hi I just had mine redone for free! I complained as in feb I got 365 unders and told him I wanted to be a d and showed him photos of women with cleavage and after 6 weeks I realised mine were too small, I actually knew a few days after but tried to give them a chance to drop. He told me to come back in June and see how I felt them but at that point I felt the same and they hadn’t changed! So I just had mine redone on wed 445 unders, they are a little bigger and got high profile instead of moderate and they seem closer together and less side boob so I am happy so far! I would have got 550 but I am really thin and he was so reluctant to give me 445. You could go and see him and complain? All companies are different. I never had mine done at mya. Some companies agree but make you pay some charges, I was lucky! He prob will tell you to wait a while so be prepared for that and u never know they may get slightly bigger x

I would feel really upset too Jo! You must feel so disappointed 🙁 I’ve seen your photos and they are a good size! They look totally natural which is amazing. I’ve decided to go bigger rather than smaller, aiming for 450-500cc as I’m a little heavier than most girls I’ve seen here and 5ft 3. I just hope my Dr will be okay with the size I’d like.

Have you complained to your surgeon about how unhappy you feel with the size? They may be able to do something about it if you specifically asked for a larger size xx

hi Jo I completely understand how you are feeling but just bare in mind your cleavage is really swollen at the moment so your boobs aren’t as defined. Once your cleavage goes down it will make your boobs looks bigger. Just wait and see how you feel.. Boobs can change so much in the healing process. I hope you get happier with them xx

Hi Jo. Like @rosy said, I completely agree…give them a few weeks and a chance to mould into your body and you will be able to see the difference in size once the swelling goes down. I think taking medication and this whole experience makes us more emotional too. But I bet they look great!! I’m having 375 overs with Mr Marcellino tomorrow :))

I keep saying I don’t look any different with clothes on but my mum says at least they are all yours now! Also there are sister bra sizes look at this chart attached. It goes diagonally right so a 38b is equivalent to lots of different sizes it is just because of the large back size. They still need to drop too so don’t worry too much

@sarahj4, thanks hun for that, I’m hoping and praying that they gonna be ok, but my inner voice is telling me that there’s something not right.. When Mr Marcellino came to see me after surgery, he had a very concerned look on his face, and sort of kept staring at them, so much so that I asked if there was something wrong, and then I asked the nurse.. he made out that it was the tape he was worried about.. just soooo upset right now… xxxx

@paigesennett, Thanks Hun, yeah I see the nurse and PC on Tuesday… I will be voicing my concerns, another reason is my incisions seem very low, like almost on my ribs, and I know you get some bruising, but mine is ridiculous… They are also still EXTREMELY TIGHT, like the hour after i woke up, they haven’t given at all.. I’m POday7 tomo so was thinking that the tightness should have eased slightly by then. I just can’t explain how gut wrenched i am.. after waiting soooo long for this, living all my life with the massive insecurities, and hang ups, to feel like this now… its terrible… xxxx

I had 360cc overs two weeks ago yesterday. I have days where I’m not happy with the size I am, I asked to be a d cup but I wearing a c cup.
I seen my surgeon yesterday and put it there in the air when he asked me if I was happy. I said I think they look small and worried if the swelling goes down anymore I’m going to be a smaller size.
When I have a top on I don’t look any different from before when I was wearing padded bras but I do like the look of them with no top and bra on…can’t win! Lol.
I do wish they was bigger so I going to give it a week or two then phone him up and tell him that this has made no difference to how I feel and confidence to when I had no boobs.
Really don’t want to go bra shopping to get padded ones again!!
I’m also not healing so well had new bandages put on my incisions yesterday for another two weeks.
I’m 5 1″ 9st 1lbs and size 10-12 with broad shoulders . Started of at size 34a.

Hope your feeling better today. I haven’t been through the procedure but what the other girls say about swelling on your chest makes sense. I also found this pic online about d&f. Not sure if it helps you feel better. When you go back make sure you discuss your concerns with the nurse/surgeon/pc, I hope they will support you. Sending hugs. Xx

@net1701, thank you for your message, yep i’m defo gonna be voicing my concerns on Tuesday… yep i still look flat as in my t-shirt… pretty bad when you 12yr old daughter has bigger mounds in her t-shirt than you when you’ve just had a boob job! Maybe its me being self consciencous but from what Ive seen its a rare occasion that these surgeons have bigger, heavier woman to do BA’s on, the majority are very slim, average size 8-10, so its got to be different doing one as positioning of implants etc have to be adjusted.. I’m a hairdresser, and when your doing something so similar day in day out, you get complacent, and when something you haven’t done much of, or problem hair, it is harder…anyway hope you heal better.. take care…xxx thanks again..xx

I’m so sorry to hear about your concerns, it must be devastating especially as it’s not cheap but please don’t give up hope yet, they take weeks to drop and fluff and a lot of women actually find they get bigger in time. I’m a week PO and feel the same, I’m a tiny frame but was severely bullied when I was younger for looking very boyish and then when I got the strapping off and they didn’t look much different I was quite upset, however even after 2 days of no strapping they’re already starting to fill out and look bigger! I’m so much happier already and can’t believe it! so I hope this will happen to you too lovely 🙂 keep us updated! Xxx

Hi jo, hope your ok. I must admit this is one of my worries too. I’m having mine done in just over two weeks. The biggest I have been offered is 450 but I weigh just under 11 stone now and am convinced they are going to look small on my frame. Most girls on this forum seem tiny compared to me. I can completely see where your coming from, it’s a lot of money to pay and when you don’t get what you were expecting, it must be devastating 🙁 I have seen you on a few forums and do hope you get the result you want once they have settled. I can relate to what you said about your daughter too, I’m 24 and my 11 year old sister has more going on than me! We must be the unlucky ones xxx

@sarah564 Hey hun, I think the 450cc will be fine for you, but I wasnt even offered them… I just trusted in the surgeon as he is the professional, and looking at me he could see I am not thin at all, quite on the chunky side.. in fact i was borderline BMI so was half expecting them to say I was to big. I wish I had gone with 450cc and maybe unders not overs.. I was quite surprised when the surgeon said “overs” as I was so flat chested, but once again I trusted his judgement.. I did ask for at least a D cup, and he was the one that said I would measure 38 chest..so therefore that would make me wanting a 38D cup.. All i said is that I didn’t want to look like Dolly Parton, which going to a D cup I don’t think would make me look like that.. All I can say Hun is go with your gut, ask any questions beforehand and get reassured… something I obviously didn’t do enough of. Keep me posted hun, Ive added you so take a look at my pics and tell me what you think..xxx

You will have to keep us all updated on what they say at your appointments, like you said before who has the money to have another op done, I know I certainly don’t either. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hopefully after time you will love them( like most other girls on here who weren’t happy with sizing at first 🙂 ). Ditto about the over choice too I was convinced I’d need unders also. Aw I will do although not sure how to view private pictures do you know? Not done it before xxx

Thanks didn’t realise you could click on the about me. My opinion and im being 100% truthful is I think you will end up loving them. You can see them better on the last one as its a side on pic and there is a massive difference from your pre op pictures. I think once they d&f like it shows you in the pic that over girl sent you, they will look fab. I think maybe because your looking down on them your seeing them differently and they do still look high. So definitely dont be disappointed 🙂 il be looking forward to your posts now where you say you were worrying for nothing and are happy with your new additions xxx

It’s so difficult to wait things out!! I’m 155 pounds size 12 and I had 450 over extra high profile with lift and areola reduction … After my surgery I was terrified I’d end up s monster ! I called myself Frankenboob.. I was so uneven bruised blotchey .. One day big then small then big… I emailed my surgeon and pc everyday with photos .. I was gonna get my money’s worth.. Lol
Now nearly 8 weeks they are looking almost great … It’s been difficult but I knew nothing would get done before 6 months so I let go and gave up … Low and behold they worked themselves out ..

sorry to hear you’re feeling like this way 🙁 once all my swelling started to go, I also thought they were too small. However since passing the 6 week mark and being given the all clear to get proper bras, I feel so much different! They look great out of my Macon and in my new bras, and they seem to have softened and changed shape lots in the last week. I think it’s important to try and be patient- which I know is soooo hard! But mine have continued to change from week to week and they are getting better and better. I hope yours do too Hun xx
