Hi guys, had my ba two days ago 385cc over the muscle and although is haven’t had hardly any pains, the back pain is literally unbearable! Haven’t been able to sleep, have tried every position possible and it’s getting worse, painkillers are not helping:( I can’t help thinking they’re too heavy for my very petite frame and I’ll have to live with this pain for life, been crying all night and all day just feel like giving up:( I haven’t seen my boobs yet as the strapping, bandages are still on and I’m wearing my macom over the top.can anyone relate to this? X

Hey! I had 340cc unders and my back pain has been awful too, but it’s because we are too stiff and can’t sit up straight etc, so our backs are bent and shoulders and haunched, the pain should go when we are able to move around more and sit up and lye down properly 🙂 I really don’t think it will be forever xx

Hey Kim, the first week really is the worst and I can promise you give it another week and you’ll be fine. The whole having to sleep upright on your back and if you are like me I felt a bit hunched over just doesn’t do our back any favours. It def won’t be the implants themselves hurting your back as they really don’t weigh that much. Before you know it they’ll feel so natural you will forget you’ve had them done. Try and get someone to give you back a good massage whilst sitting up or put a hot water bottle on it. Have you got a v pillow as they help quite a bit?? xxx

Try not to be too upset it really is early days. The GA will still be in your system and that makes you feel all over the place. The back ache and bum ache is bad. What pain relief are you on. If you are getting no relief from meds contact your nurse. I had BA (over) and uplift and used co codamol for pain relief. Shallow baths help.

    Chin up chic xxx

Thank you everyone for your kind replies, this forum is a real saviour.. I have been on the paracetamols and have my v pillow but it’s like a deep knot in the centre of my back..awful and I’m sleep deprived. I also have a stinging pain in left wound everytime I move, is this normal? And I’m constantly hungry lol eating about 5/6 times a day..I usually eat twice a day, it’s the weirdest experience ever, !! X

Kimmy paracetmol won’t touch the pain, I can’t take iburofen but if you can take that alongside the paracetemol or get some co codamol. If you get some pain relief you’ll get some sleep. You’ll be tense so that won’t be helping. As for the V pillow it takes a bit of time to get the right postion. Try a small cushion for the gap, the V bit is more to keep u upright.

If it helps any by day 5 I woke up in the night on my side!! As for the stinging pain I’d say yes as I’ve had that, feels like someone is stabbing you with a skewer through your boob into your back (I’m a real drama queen when it comes to pain)

My nurse and PC were laughing at me on Tuesday when I was describing the pains I’d had (in a nice way).

Get some decent pain relief xxx

My right boob hurts more, I have a dull ache in the side of it when I get up. Again, I think it’ll just take time for everything to settle into place etc 🙂 try heat pads for the back pain, I tried one the other night and it definitely helped!! X

I only had 340cc’s but had back pain too for around a week and a half I kept hunching over too because of the extra weight but it does go just keep on top of ur pain killers and maybe take ibuprofen too if it suits u. Hope it gets better I’m sure it will xxxx

Hi Hun, I have a curved spine so get a fair amount of back pain day to day. Thankfully I never got any during my BA where I ha 300CC over the muscle implants.
I’m a 6/8 on bottom and 8 on top and weigh 8.5 stone, so I’m also quite petite.
    My advice;
Get deep heat and rub it in to the area, it works so well.
Ask someone to massage the area and really stretch out the muscles.
Don’t do any sharp turns/twists or bend to pick something.
Keep yourself as relaxed as possible as its likely your muscles are tightening on reflex.
Try and do gentle stretches until you feel a slight pull in your back, I.e lean back slowly at the waist or put your arms in front of you, hold your hands together and stretch forward.
If you’re using a lot of pillows try to take one away, see if that helps as I find laying flat is helpful 🙂
Also take tablets regularly, don’t let the pain get on top of you!xx

Ps; don’t hunch as it’ll cramp your muscles!!xx
