Feels like I cant breathe

Hi girls,

I’m a bit worried because I had my strapping taken off last night. I’m 7 days post op today and since its been taken off my chest feels SO tight and feels like I’m really struggling to breathe? Has anyone else had this?! And why is it worse now the strapping has come off :(? Plus side really happy with the size they look absolutely huge! Downside they look like two pointy cones and my nipples look so weird!!

I had my op yesterday hun and my chest is soooo tight it is hard to breathe in and out, I kept on checking my sports bra thinking it was too tight but it was actually quite loose it just feels as though someone is pushing down on my chest. I don’t have any strapping on as I had Mr Traynor and he doesn’t use it so maybe that’s just how it feels when they’re not held down and left to hang on their own haha. I wouldn’t worry about it and currently mind are like two rock hard boulders haha xxxx

Hi Hun, I’ve still got my strapping on and I really find it hard to breathe at times as well, feels like there’s a huge weight on my chest! It’s horrible. Don’t worry though you’re not the only one xx

Hey huni, I had mine off Tuesday as I had excessive swelling, I still feel short if breath it’s only a week today…we just need a little more time I’m sure xx rest here and there x

Thanks girls. Feeling so much better today can breathe normally again. I think they were just getting used to being out of the strapping haha. It’s really hard to rest as we are moving house this weekend. Really bad timing!! Xxx

Am having trouble breathing too, and it’s so painful when I cough or laugh. Guess it’s just a waiting game until we heal completely. Hope you don’t mind the add Becky. Happy healing hun. xxx
