    Hi ladies,

I am super excited! I have booked my breast augmentation for the 30th January! Met with my PC Saturday and loved her! Meeting my surgeon on the 10th January!

I have a few questions if anyone could help!

I know we are all different but how long will it be until I can start buying lovely new bras? Balconette etc. How long did you all have to wait to wear underwire bras?

Also I understand that each Breast has to be treated as a different operation, and I’m very nervous about the “dropping”. Been reading on here that some people’s take a lot lot longer than others. Also what is “fluffing??”

How difficult was it to wash your hair??

I’m 5ft 2, 9 st and slim build small waist and 34 A and my boobs have never had any shape so I am doing this for confidence mostly and to finally look good in a bikini but also naked! Iv been unsure as to what cc to go for – is there anyone of my build in here that have gone up to a C cup?

I have attached a pic of what I am like now.

I had a message asking for my NHS number – is this normal? I saw some posts where people’s surgeries were cancelled because they hadn’t had a letter from their GP – will I be prompted for this?

    Would appreciate all help.

    Thanks guys 🙂 xxx

6 weeks until you can wear bras. You have a 1-2 week post op appointment check up and then you see them 6ish weeks down the line 🙂 sports bras are very comfortable though! X

    Best of luck

Fluffing is basically where the implants are settling and becoming fitted into the pocket and sitting there like they should. They’ll drop then fluff. This takes 6-18 months all in all. You’ll see changes in weeks.

And dropping may be very uneven. One will drop more but they’ll even out 100%. You’ll panic and worry like we all have but they’re sisters, not twins. They’re two different surgeries. Think of it that way.

Washing hair was awful. I sat on the floor and put my head over the bath and got my mum to wash mine! You can shower a day or 2 later but lifting your arms will be a struggle to wash your hair babe. Some girls go to the hairdressers.

A C cup seems quite small? I was hoping for a DD with 400cc overs and I will probably be much more than a DD. A lot of girls aim for a DD and are E’s or F’s! You’ll be fine. I’ll attach a photo for you. I haven’t been measured yet. I was a 34B to start with! I hope this really helps you. I went to the biggest I could as I would rather be too big than too small and they do drop fairly quick as you can see. 2 weeks later and they’re not sitting on my chest as much!

With regards to NHS numbers and cancellations I don’t know about this. I didn’t have my NHS number and my GP had nothing to do with it until I got a sick note.

    Thanks for the info Lauren!!
I’m doing it to try and be more womanly and I don’t want to go too big. Iv always been a worried with regard to my weight. Will the enhancement of my chest make me look a lot heavier do you think? That is one of the biggest fears!! Xx

You can find out your NHS number just by giving a quick call to your GP surgery, I think pretty much everyone has to provide a NHS number, if not they’ll just ask for it when they write to inform your GP but if you find out first it normally speeds up the process

Hey i had mine done on friday and my stats are similar to yours however I’m 5’5/5’6 but same weight and similar size before. i was exactly the same about size was worried it would make me look larger, originally i asked to be DD so was recommended 400/450 however thought about it and realised i didn’t want to go that big so i said C to my surgeon and got 350, a lot of girls on here say to go larger and its down to personal preference but I’m really happy i changed my mind and went smaller because i didn’t want it to be obvious/look fake/gain weight on me. I’m only a few days post op but I’m positive ill be bigger by at least one maybe two sizes bigger than a C , hope that helps xx

I had to have a letter from my GP, he basically just signed everything and gave me the go ahead for my surgery (there could be a charge for this, I had to pay my GP £35 for him to sign it!) x

Yours look bigger than mine naturally so to fill them out I would say anything from 400cc above. Maybe 420cc as you have a lot of skin there to stretch. Nice natural size. Take advantage of it.
The implants are so light I barely feel anything. I barely notice they’re there :’) 30+ layers of silicone and it feels like a feather.
If anything it would make you look smaller but you don’t wanna be out of proportion with the rest of your body as you are quite petite.
I’m 9st also but 5’7. You have a lot of breast to fill so FILL IT UP!
Your surgeon shouldn’t allow you to look stupid. He will know what’s best. Xx

I’d say 400 is high Lauren if Lorna is looking fur around a C cup…just my opinion. Have a look at some reviews on Real Self Lorna and try to find people with similar stats to you. That’ll give you an idea of what different sizes look like on your height/weight. That said they won’t tell you much about how broad their shoulders are or the size of their waist so it will only give an indication. Hope that helps xx

Hi sweetie, your surgeon will know best what size, but you are on the right lines 250/300 I would imagine but who knows … in regards to the NHS number … I don’t know about other clinics but for Mya it’s important, from that they will get your medical history from the doctor, following this if they have any questions from that they will contact the doctor with those questions and/or ask you to chase for a letter from them. It’s al dependent on your history Hun, usually depression, anxiety, counselling they need a letter from doctor and of course if you’ve had any concerns with blood history e.g. Iron deficiency they check, just to be safe. Justgive yoy GP a call they will give you the NHS number straight away, I called when I was in clinic as I forgot lol. If you think their may be anything on your medical history just speak to your nurse or PC and they will go over things with you and help speed up the process. Good luck xx

Hey Lorna I had my op yesterday 275 overs, these should take me to a large C at the smallest, that’s from the A that I was. Il put some pics on in a couple of days when I’m up to it!
300+ on me just looked too much and unnatural when I tried them in the consultation although everyone’s bodies are different! Ask at your next consultation if you can try on the sizes he offers you and take a tight top (i took s high neck one) to put over the granny bra they give you to try the implants in haha so you can get the real effect of them rather than trying to fit them in your bra or having a loose or low cut top where you can’t really tell how they look x
