Finally done, Dr Traynor

Hi everyone just wanted to share my experience to help any girls who are still yet to have their op,

My admission time was 15:00 at the first trust hospital with Dr Traynor, I arrived there a bit early at 14:30 with my mum. At 3 I got take straight to my room which was lovely the hospital was like a hotel!!!! Anyway as soon as I got in my room I was told to get changed and by 17:00 everyone had been in to see me, then finally the man him self come in to draw on me and said that I would be fine and he would see me down there, he was actually very comforting for a man with very few words hahaha!

After he left a lady come and I had my cannula put in before I went to the operating room and if I’m really honest it absolutely killed I hate them!!! I think that bit was worse than the operation hahaha.

I then I had to do the walk of shame to theatre, any girls going to surgery remember to bring slippers I completely forgot! Had to walk down in my dressing gown stockings and my knee high boots I came in hahaha, don’t think I looked very attractive to say the least

When I got to the operating room my cannula hadn’t been put in properly, omg I wanted to cry just at the thought of having it again, but this time a man did it and honestly girls I didn’t even feel a thing that time! I was then give GA and it was the most weirdest feeling ever I remember getting a really weird taste in my mouth, and then I was gone! And woke up with new boobies finally!!!! Mr Traynor come in to see me one last time to tell me I had beautiful boobies and that everything went really well, I felt on top of the world and was hardly in any pain at all when I woke up just a bit achy.

When I returned to my room I had a drink and something to eat and by half 9 I was ready to go home.

Still now I’m not in very much pain just aching, I’ve been keeping on top of all by medication and have some ice packs which are a god send!!

Just want to thank all the girls on here you’ve all been so much help and made my experience a lot easier and put my mind at rest a lot hahaha! Good luck to any girls having there op and everyone who has happy healing ☺️☺️☺️

Glad all went well Nicole! How are you finding recovery? I am finding it better than expected which is making me worry worse is to come haha xxx

Thanks @jenniepoole85, it wasn’t to bad yesterday but today I’m finding it really hard keep being sick, can’t keep any painkillers down so in a bit of pain at the moment, what about you? Xxx
