Finally going for a consultation????

I’m so excited! I called up in September to book for a consultation but as I had only stopped breastfeeding 3 months before they had told me to call back as I have to wait 6 months post breastfeeding.

How long after the consultation how long will I have to wait to have my op?

I had my patient coordinator consultation yesterday, I meet my surgeon next Thursday, pre op on the 3rd of January and my op is booked for the 26th of January.
I think it it all depends on how flexible you are with your consultation days and times, and their availability 🙂

Thanks for your reply sian, wow it’s quite a quick process then, which I am glad about. For some reason I thought I would be waiting months! How was your first consultation? Do you get to decide who you want for your surgeon? Let me know how Thursday goes 🙂

How was your surgeon consultation yesterday? I’m also going to the Fitzroy. I’ve got my first consultation today, I’m so excited.
