Hi girls, read so many articles on here which helped me before my surgery so thought I would share my experience. Had 350 partials today at Preston with Dr Andrea. Originally had 1 as my admission time but they changed it last minute to 11 which suited me better. Arrived at Preston around 10:45. Went to reception to check in and got shown straight to my room. Had a gown, paper type pants and socks to put on. Nurse went over my info again, had drip in my hand etc then got taken down to theatre at 2. Put straight to sleep next thing I knew I was back in my room and it was 4. Op took an hour and spent 1 hour in recovery. Nurse did my stats again and oxygen was a little low so had mask on for half an hour then was fine. Had pain killers but not really in any pain yet, just feel tight where the band is to keep my muscles in place. Nurses, doctors etc were all so so lovely. On the way home now with a happy meal as I am starving 🙂 anyone who is nervous about there op I would honestly say really don’t worry. I am the biggest wimp when it comes to pain… Cried when I had my ears pierced… At 21!! So was absolutely dreading this but I would honestly do it all again. Looking forward to my bed now … Will upload some pictures tomorrow xx
