Hi everyone! Hope you’re all well 🙂

I’ve booked my first consultation at the Newcastle clinic next Thursday, 29th June and I’m so excited/nervous!

I wondered if anyone can tell me what to expect from the initial consultation and some good questions to ask? I want to be as prepared as possible before I go.

I also wanted to ask peoples opinions on whether or not I need an uplift? I’ve recently lost a lot of weight (3 stone 3lbs) and as a result I’ve lost a lot of volume in my boobs, and unfortunately gravity is taking its toll on them already! 🙁 I’m not sure whether implants alone would be enough to restore them to their former perkiness and would love to know what you think?

    Thanks so much,

    Emma

I would say by looking at the posts I’ve seen from other people that you would need an uplift as it looks like you have a lot of breast tissue, therefore an implant itself would just weigh it down further x

If you decide to go with Dr Andrea Giannitrapanni then I would say he would say you will need an uplift. He did with me,but Dr Traynor looked at my photos and said I only needed implants.Don’t know what to do.I have now seen another surgeon, not with MYA and she said I could have an uplift and BA or BA and nipple lift or just BA.Not seeing her till August now,as she is not near me till then.

Hiya hun, just from my own experience, I would say that a surgeon would most likely advise an uplift with implants to get the best results possible! initially i just wanted an enlargement and cried when i was told i needed an uplift too (i was a bit in denial i think haha) I was so scared of the scarring & not being able to breast feed in the future as i haven’t had children etc but I’m so glad i did it to get the best results, and my scars are very small and neat at 20dpo!

Your first consultation will be with your PC, you speak to them about what you would like to have done, they have a look at your boobs and advise, speak about financing your operation, rough dates you would like to have the op done between, and advise a surgeon for you (you can make your own decision though and have a look through surgeon profiles!) etc. The 2nd consultation is with a surgeon who can go into things in a bit more depth with you and would be the person to ask all the surgery related questions to. best of luck with your journey hun 🙂 xx

Uplift with implant blows a bit, but will make you happier in the long run as it will give you better value for your money, better results and results that are far longer-lasting! xx like fern also got pissed/cried being told this the first time, even went to see another surgeon lmao (who said the same thing hehe)… now 10 days PO I’m so grateful for what they did for me! they were right id have been disappointed and also think like fern I was in denial too haha
