Hi. I had mine done there last week Hun. You go straight to your own room. It has TV and en suite. My hubby stayed in the room with me the whole time and also stayed there whilst I was in surgery. Just make sure he brings iPad, book ect to keep him entertained. It’s only a little place with about 10 bedrooms and staff were lovely. Feel free to message me if you have any questions my dear. Xx

Hey hun @nixon . I had my operation at First Trust Preston last Thursday so I’m 5 days post op now! It was really nice and unlike any hospital I’ve been to! Really nice area too! You get your own en suite room for the day with TV and bed etc.

Whoever goes with you will have to sit in the communal day room for the 30 mins/ hour that you’re in your operation then back to the room. You shouldn’t be waiting too long but time flew by for me!

If you need advice on hotels then I suggest the IBIS which is approx £ 59 and 5 minutes from the hospital which is ideal.

    Good luck! Xx

@nixon I would suggest getting an £8 ASDA post op bra too. Surgeons and nurses have actually said themselves how good they are! Super comfy but supportive too. Xx

    Hi

I was there yesterday for my op. It was great the staff are really nice. We had our own room and my bloke only had to leave whilst they wheeled me in from surgery as there wasn’t enough room to manoeuvre the trolley in as well. I was admitted at 8am and was home by 5.30pm. Its absolutely fine and flies by. Good luck hun and just add / message if you need anything xxxx
