I am 1 week, 1 day post op.
My stay at Preston was fine while day time staff were on shift however once there was change over I was pretty much rushed out of the hospital.

I didnt hear from anyone at MYA until I RANG THEM 3days post op to make MYSELF a 7 day appointment.

Went on Saturday nurse was lovely expressed my concerns and was told it was normal healing process even though I expressed feelings of being in a “drunk” state, being really forgetful and numb.

Woke up to blood and oozing on my dressings. Couldn’t get through to the Emergency nurse line and Newcastle clinic doesn’t open to bloody 3!
Haven’t had any contact from my PC Emily even though she said she’d contact me 1 day post op. Finally rang the number you ring for your initial consultation and was put through to a Preston nurse who offered me an appointment for tomorrow at 2:45pm!!! I’m only bleeding and oozing no biggie eh?
Went to see my GP this morning and he can’t believe I’ve been left with such a bad infection after seeing a nurse!. I paid my money up front and have felt like since I did so I have been left alone. Really annoyed and frustrated as it’s a lot of hard earned money for a rather crappy service!

Omg I feel so bad for you that’s not good at all and to just be left is shocking. My pc is Emily too and I know she’s not back in the clinic until tomorrow as I’ve been trying to get in contact with her myself. I haven’t had my surgery yet but I do also have mr traynor as my surgeon. I hope you get sorted out ASAP it’s made me feel worried now. I thought we payed for there aftercare too therefore you should be being cared for properly. Hope it all works out well for you xx

THANKYOU hunny for your nice words.
It got sorted eventually as I’ve said in the other comment the head of the Newcastle clinic rang me and was so apologetic and nice. She gave me her number and told me to ring up to 8pm tonight and I’d get seen tomorrow. Try not to worry however make sure your always given what you’ve paid for as I feel sometimes I even forget how much money it really is and what I deserve from that. Dr Traynor is fab and did amazing work on me! What stage are you at ? I’ll add you as a friend, keep me up to date with your journey xxxxxx

Aw I’m really glad about that. Hope your all sorted fast. That’s reassuring that your happy with his work. I met him last week and I think he’s such a lovely man he made me feel so comfortable. I have a slight asymmetry and he’s offered me up to 450/475 but I think I’m going with 400/425cc overs. My surgery is booked for 1st August I can’t wait I absolutely hate my boobs I can’t wait to like them. I’ve accepted you 🙂 are you happy with your choice of size? What did you go for? Xxxx
