    Hi everyone,
    I am just wondering whether anyone has gone back to doing gentle exercise as early on as 2 weeks post op?
    I am desperate to go to the gym and do something. I think I should be able to sit on a bike for half an hour or so at least without any difficulties with boobs. I’m not planning on press ups or pull ups just yet!
    Having said that, I have been told not to do anything until 6 weeks post op and I don’t want to push it unnecessarily.
    Thanks,
    Jo x

    @jop I was wondering the same thing, I’m having mine done in January but there’ll be a lot of Xmas weight I’ll want to lose! Apparently even vigorous sex too early on can have a possibility to cause capsular contraction so just be careful they’re not bouncing around and wear a high impact sports bra and maybe google about exercising after a BA so you know the risks x

    @jodiec Hi Jodie,
    Thanks for that. I will have a look online and see what it says. There’s no way I want to do anything to screw up my healing or cause problems, it’s just that I am looking at my tummy growing and I’m not enjoying it!!!
    How exciting, your op will be here before you know it. 🙂 xx

    @jop hey

    I’m feeling exactly the same as you! My bum seems to be growing by the day and I eat fairly well! Proves exercise does make a difference, let me know what you find as im desperate to do something xxx

    Hi @simplyjen1989 Jen!
    I know it’s a pain isn’t it?!
    I had a look and most of what I found is saying listen to your surgeon and follow their instructions.
    🙁 Other things said, listen to your body, perhaps start off doing low cardio lower body stuff (avoid proper cardio for a while) and see how you get on.
    But my gut (no pun intended) is telling me that it’s not worth risking it.
    Here’s to big boobies, big tummies and big bums!
    xx

    ?? its only temporary right? Don’t want to risk the new melons ???.

    I should be back in the gym just in time for the New Years resolutions anyway

    Thank you for letting me know xxx

    Girls seriously after paying out thousands on surgery to go to the gym earlier…are you mad? Also just to make you aware that if you do go back to fitness now….your implants can move….you’re not healed on the inside…furthermore…if you do not follow your after care advice….fall into trouble later because of this…your 5 year care is void….
    I compete in obstacle course racing.. I train 5 times a week plus running…..I have stopped altogether to allow myself to heal. ..I’m not paying 5k to ruin it…
