Get to London – reciive a phone call from clinic – op canceled

I am beyond fuming been working myself up to this get into London at 2pm and my admission time was 3 receive a phone call from my pc to inform me they have had to cancel the procedures for the rest of the day as a light has broken in the theatre.!!!

Can’t believe I have to get back on the train and go back home, so upset. What a royal screw up

No havnt said when they will be able to get me back in for I’m so upset, have litreally cried all the way home.

They said they will reimburse me for the travel, not the mo eh that bothers me more of the emotional roller coaster. But oh well what can I do.

I understand that problems occur but you’d think they could get an engineer to it? You must be so upset? The worry and fear and excitement and all for nothing- not to mention if you’ve booked time off work etc. I hope they get you in very soon x

I know you would think they could get it sorted. Oh well home now and if they can’t get me in early next week hopefully I will be able to go back to work as have booked 2 weeks off.

I would be so annoyed !!!! It’s not even he travel it’s that you’ve prepared yourself for it booked the time off work and made arrangements etc. Hopefully they’ll get you back in soon as a priority and you don’t have to wait again cause it’s not your fault xxx

oh no! how awful! do they not have more than one theatre? you must be beyond upset and frustrated. keep your train ticket, ive seen someone else is having big issues over getting money back because they have no proof of anything they bought. i hope you can go back to work and rearrange your holidays :/ xx

Thanks girls, just had a little snooze n feel better just so drained been a rollercoaster of emotions just so so annoyed I will defo be complaining (after Iv had the surgery wouldn’t want wonky boobes lol) it’s just ridiculous it was only a few days before that I got told oh actually you have to stay in overnight the surgeon requested it but nobody had rung me to tell me.

TBH it’s a fucking joke. I’ve had such a great expletive with mys up u till Tuesday I know mistakes happen and things go wrong that our out of there control but doesn’t stop the frustration and upset on my end.

My luck sucks haha

@jessicaloakes Thanx babe been quite the day was so nervous and excited this morning and just feel pretty down about it all tonight but there’s nothing I can do about it just keeping my fingers crossed they can get me in asap.
Have no idea at the moment pc just said they hope it will be soon will try calling them tomorrow for an update.

I would have been soo gutted getting myself all worked up (i know im already worried and im 2 weeks away) so no idea how you must feel! Defo complain its soo bad of them! Like the previous comment said you would think they could get an engineer or something in asap seens as they are such a big company! Please let us know when you get booked back in!! Heard from them today at 4 and they have booked me in for Thursday at the welbeck hospital which is another clinic the surgeon I’m having works at. xxx

Well it’s not too long to wait luckily but Id be livid, after its done I would then be expecting a discount for their c**k up xx

@littlec87 I k ow luckily they have got me in quickly they called me first and let me have first choice I believe as they screwed up earlier in the week by forgotting to tell me that the surgeon had moved me to a overnight case. Unlucky week for me lol. But oh well these things happen they have been super appologetic at least I only have 5 days to wait ecitment has totally gone now though xxx
