Girls who have had BA please read

How did you manage to have baths/showers and wash your hair as I’ve heard it really hurts to lift your arms up after BA? Please reply I’ve got my BA 3weeks tomorrow xx

I had mine partial under and I found it fine to wash my hair over the bath at 3 days post op! wasn’t aloud a proper shower until 1 week but I had shallow baths with my strapping on the first week. You will be fine I’m sure xxx

I think it depends more on whether you have overs or unders, everyone is different. I had my op on a Sunday and washed my hair myself over the bath on the Tuesday and was able to get in and out the bath. Wasn’t allowed to shower/bath properly until 9 days po x

Im having unders. Im so worried that i wont be able to wash my hair as i have to wash it every other day (wash, miss a day and wash) xx

I had my fella do my hair in the first week by flipping my head over the bath and he used the shower head. then as another few days or so went by gradually I could lift my arms a touch higher so then I would be able to do my own hair flipped over shower then a bit after that I felt OK enough to get in the shower and do what I did as normal 🙂 it all depends on you as an individual really and healing quickness etc xx

My bf is rubbish at washing my hair he made it look like a birds nest first and last time he touched my hair when i broke my thumb haha think i might just go hairdressers for the first week find a traniee so its cheap and cheerful haha xx

Yeah u won’t be able to do it yourself the first week hun, I had to get my hubby to do mine as a desperate resort lol!! At about a week to ten days I was ok to do it so I would def get yourself booked in at the hairdressers x
